Underneath The Lyre Tree

Once upon a time, in the land of Caliara, lay a splendid, tall and radiant Lyre tree, whose branches seemed to touch the heavens. The tree was home to the tiniest, brightest creatures of the fairy kingdom, the ‘Tilibees.’
Late one night, under the Lyre tree's luminescent foliage, a young and stubborn ‘Tilibe’ named Liana was sitting, her sparkling wings rippling in tune with the quiet humming of the spheres.
As unique as the tree she dwelled in, Liana boasted distinctive jade wings that captivated even the oldest fairies of the kingdom. Despite her charm, Liana was known for her unruly behaviour and her insatiable curiosity about the human realm.
One day, as Liana found herself marvelling the human kingdom through her tiny pixie mirror, she cast a mischievous glance towards Xylo, the wise ‘Tilibe’ Elder. Aware of Liana's intentions, Xylo warned her, 'The human world isn't meant for us, Liana. There lie dangers too colossal for our existence.'
Ignoring Elder Xylo's advice, Liana ventured into the human world, her heart bursting with adrenaline and excitement. She revelled in the amusing sights of humans with their vast structures, loud noises and peculiar contraptions.
Daily, Liana would sneak out into the human world and return at dusk filled with exhilarating tales of her adventures. Each tale was a testimony to Liana’s courage and a source of worry for Xylo. Despite Xylo's repeated forewarnings, Liana refused to cease her ventures.
One fateful day, however, Liana’s curiosity proved disastrous. As she was exploring a human mansion, she got trapped inside a tiny glass jar by a human child. Panicked, she tried to break out but in vain.
Meanwhile, in the fairy kingdom, Elder Xylo sensed trouble. On realizing that Liana hadn’t returned at twilight, Xylo mustered a search team and headed towards the human world.
Through his wisdom and knowledge of the human realm, Xylo managed to locate Liana in the child’s room. With a concoction of sparkling fairy dust and Liana’s favorite nectar, Xylo created a bewitching fragrance that made the child profoundly sleep, giving the search team a chance to rescue Liana.
As the team returned home, the kingdom welcomed Liana with warm embraces. Though relieved to see Liana safe, the kingdom sighed in disappointment.
Upon her return, Liana approached Elder Xylo, her eyes filled with realization and remorse. 'I promise never to venture into the human world again,' she vowed, her wings flickering low.
With a sigh, Xylo placed a comforting paw on Liana’s shoulder, 'You're indeed brave, Liana. But not brave enough if you're willing to risk your people for curiosity. Understand that the world outside is not always hostile but is not intended to mingle with ours.'
Humbled, Liana returned to her dwelling, her earlier vibrancy subdued. Yet, this experience brought about a profound change in Liana. Her stories were no longer of reckless adventures but of lessons learned and wisdom gained. The kingdom was no longer worried. They were proud. Proud of their youngest fairy, whose jade wings not only represented her uniqueness but also the courage and wisdom she upheld.
