Their river started drying up, and their crops were failing. But it was too late for them to react. They were hit by a severe famine and had no choice but to ask Lohara for help.
Moved by their plight, the people of Lohara shared their resources, ignoring the past arrogance of Tola residents. The resulting bond was much stronger than it ever would have been under normal circumstances.
The story of Chaya continues to resonate in every corner of Lohara – a girl whose visions created a bond among two villages, thus teaching everyone a lesson on humility, preparedness, and unity.
