The Unsung Prince

Once upon a time in the small town of Harmon, located in the heart of the magical kingdom of Serene, lived an ordinary boy named Liam. Or so everyone thought he was ordinary. Little did they know, they were really living among royalty.
Liam was a baker's boy. Every day, he baked bread and delivered it to the townsfolk. There was always something special about Liam's bread that made people smile a little broader, laugh a little louder, and feel a bit happier. But the humble baker's boy was oblivious to the magic he was spreading, for he was just doing his job.
In reality, Liam was a prince from another dimension. He was the heir to the magical kingdom of Arcane. But he was sent by his father, King Aurion, to live in Serene after the kingdom came under a deadly curse.
The curse was cast by the wicked sorcerer Argoth who was filled with jealousy and vengeance against King Aurion for ruling over the prosperous kingdom of Arcane that he himself had always dreamt of. No-one could break Argoth's curse, not even the most powerful mages of Arcane. The curse dictated that the kingdom would forever be shrouded in darkness, and its people plagued by eternal sorrow—an exact opposite of their peaceful and joyful lives.
However, there was one saving grace. By sending Liam to Serene, King Aurion safeguarded the only hope of breaking the curse. Liam, blessed with his father's magic, could break it, but only when he would be recognised as a Prince, not just by others, but by himself too.
Liam's everyday life of cheerfulness, humility, and selfless service won the hearts of everyone in Serene. They secretly longed for him to be their prince but refrained from expressing it out of fear. They feared the wrath of their current king; a ruthless tyrant named King Regis.
News of Liam's popularity reached King Regis, who ordered the young boy to be brought to him. Facing a tyrant, Liam bowed respectfully but exuded a rare courage and poise. Recognising the inherent nobility, King Regis saw a threat to his throne.
To assert his reign and rid himself of any competition, he decided to put Liam through a test. He called upon Greena, the monstrous beast locked up in the castle dungeons. Greena was unleashed with the cruel order to kill Liam. But the boy, with his inherited magic, tamed the beast with a mere touch, filling onlookers with awe and wonder.
Upon witnessing this, the people of Serene simultaneously shouted, 'All hail Prince Liam!' The echoes filled Harmon, reaching the farthest parts of Serene. This simultaneous recognition transformed Liam, and a blinding light radiated from him, travelling all the way to Arcane.
Back in the cursed kingdom, the shroud of darkness began to fade as hope filled the air. Life slowly returned to normal, and people's faces lit up with joy and relief. The curse was broken.
Meanwhile, back in Serene, Regis was overthrown. Prince Liam, with his kind heart and wise decisions, became the righteous ruler of Serene and Arcane. Peace and happiness thrived under his reign in both dimensions.
Liam, no more the baker's boy, was a prince; he was Prince Liam of Serene and Arcane. And he was indeed extraordinary. His story was that of an unsung prince whose heartwarming humility and kindness could topple tyrants and break curses; a beacon of hope for two worlds.
