The Unseen Heroes of Koralvastu

Beneath the cerulean realms of Jatai, the enchanted waters where aquatic life existed with a civilization far advanced than us lay the kingdom of Koralvastu. Unbeknownst to the humans, the fishfolk of Koralvastu lived harmoniously, their lives intertwined with the rhythm of the tides under the reign of King Mireno. There was peace under the deep blue sea until one fatal day when a mystical prophecy foretold the fall of Koralvastu by a creature not of their own kind. The prophecy was vague but highly ominous. King Mireno was disturbed and struggled to maintain the harmony in his kingdom.
Life went by under the sea, as the fishfolk continued with their pursuits until one fateful day a strange creature drifted down from the surface world. It was human boy around the age of eight, his unconscious body barely floating amidst the strong currents. The guards noticed him and brought him before King Mireno.
Seeing the boy, King Mireno's worried heart stilled, recognizing the prophecy's creature. But his heart also saw a life, an innocent child drifting between life and death. His fatherly instincts took over and chose to save the boy. Hours turned into days and days into weeks as the boy, named Oscar, was nursed back to health. He was different, not adapted to the underwater world, but the fishfolk welcomed him, impressed by his resiliency and curiosity. Venea, the princess and the daughter of King Mireno, was no different. She saw the fearless explorer in Oscar and quickly befriended him.
Time went by as Oscar adapted to the underwater environment, learning the fishfolk's language and their culture, earning their trust and friendship while King Mireno observed him closely. Fishfolk's magic allowed Oscar to breathe underwater, but King Mireno knew the boy belonged to the surface.
One day as Oscar and Venea were exploring a forbidden cave, they stumbled upon a hidden prophecy inscription depicting the complete mortal danger on Koralvastu. In that moment, they understood that Oscar wasn't the threat, but he was sent to save Koralvastu. They rushed back to the king, explaining the realized prophecy.
King Mireno, although apprehensive, allowed them to embark on a dangerous journey to retrieve the Amber Orb, the mystical object that, according to the editable prophecy, can save Koralvastu. Along the journey, Oscar and Venea faced enormous trials and tribulations. They fought sea monsters, endured mystical tornados, solved cryptic puzzles, and more, each deadly encounter strengthening their bonds of friendship.
After a long and perilous journey, they reached the Amber Orb's resting place. However, retrieving the Orb required a sacrifice, a life from the surface. Realization dawned upon them; it was Oscar's life that was required. Oscar, determined to save his friends, decided to sacrifice himself. But Venea, fueled by her affection for Oscar, proposed an alternate plan. Utilizing the little magic she knew, Venea modified the ritual, sharing half of Oscar's life force, thus preserving his life while retrieving the Amber Orb.
They returned to Koralvastu, hailed as heroes. The Amber Orb restored the waning life force of Koralvastu, thus averting the prophecy's disaster. Oscar, though weak, survived, and his sacrifice wielded him a permanent place amongst the fishfolk.
King Mireno, although grateful, knew that Oscar had a life beyond Koralvastu. With a heavy heart, he decided to send Oscar back with partial memory of his adventurous journey and a subconscious reminder of his second home, his second family, deep down in the sea.
And so, Oscar woke up on a sandy beach, dazed and confused, looking at the sea with a sense of belonging without really knowing why. His heroic tale etched forever within the hearts of the fishfolk of Koralvastu, under the deep blue sea.
