The Unity of Lumoria
Legend tells of ancient times in the magical kingdom of Lumoria, an enchanted wonderland with lush forests, crystal clear rivers and skies imbued with rainbow hues. Once, the kingdom was home to two harmoniously living tribes, the Thalorians and the Pristines. Never a word of disarray was spoken between them, that is until discontent began to permeate their relation.
The Pristines were gentle beings, full of benevolence and kindness, endowed with the gift of nature manipulation. While the Thalorians were powerful warriors, gifted with remarkable strength and courage. Balance was achieved as they used their gifts in unity. However, over time, the Thalorians began to grow envious of the Pristines' powers, causing a rift to grow between the tribes.
Their unity started shattering when Lucious, a young, rebellious Thalorian, attempted to trick Arabella, a Pristine maiden, into granting him her magic. His plan however, came to light causing Arabella to curse him, stripping him of his strength. This event unified Thalorians against the Pristines, pushing the kingdom into a disastrous conflict.
Months of futile warfare passed, draining the prosperity of Lumoria. It was when Ellaria, the wise elderly Queen of Lumoria, intervened, summoning representatives from both tribes with the hope to mend their bond. Under the magnificent dome of the crystal palace, a gathering was convened.
Queen Ellaria prophesied, her gaze unwavering, 'Peace can reign only when a Pristine's intent matches a Thalorian's bravery.' Hearing her words, resentment fogged the minds of the Thalorians, while defeat circled the hearts of the Pristines.
Among those present, two young hearts caught each other’s eye. Arabella stared at Elmeric, a Thalorian warrior, from across the crystal room. Elmeric, who had always admired Arabella’s grace and power, felt a flicker of hope.
