The Unforgiven Angel
In a realm that loomed above the human world, filled with ethereal splendour and divine majesty, resided a host of celestial beings; the most fascinating one was Seraphina. Seraphina was an angel, the epitome of pure beauty, who had iridescent wings that glowed brightly amidst the heavenly bodies. Her radiant smile could outshine the most scintillating of stars, and her compassionate gaze was enough to heal the deepest of wounds. But there was something strange about her — a certain melancholy that lingered in her eyes. She was widely known as; 'The Unforgiven Angel'.
Seraphina was stripped of one privilege that every other angel possessed — the privilege to love, bestowed upon her by the Divine Creator himself. Legend had it that she was so vulnerable, she fell in love with a human who was unable to reciprocate her celestial affection, causing great havoc in other circles of existence. The Creator, in his divine wisdom, decided that for the greater good, she should be forbidden to love.
In spite of all her divine magnificence, she felt an emptiness that echoed through her heart. Her longing was visible to all as she spent her days in the celestial garden, overlooking the human world.
One day, she saw Adrian, a man of noble character with a heart of gold, who lived among the enemies of his land, bringing hope and peace to their lives. She got lost in his bravely demure personality and admired his selfless acts. Despite her divine restrictions, she couldn't keep herself from feeling a deep affection for Adrian, a human once again.
Word of Seraphina's infatuation reached the Divine Creator, who was moved by the depth of her affection and decided to give her a chance. He summoned her and announced, 'Your punishment shall be lifted if you succeed in making Adrian fall in love with you. But, beware, you will exist as a mortal until he voluntarily confesses his love for you. If you fail, you will remain as mortal forever.'
Thrilled yet nervous, she traversed the heavenly path to the mortal realm, transforming into a normal woman. As a mortal named Sarah, she helped Adrian in aiding the enemies, coming closer to him each day. She saw him engrossed in his noble cause, displaying humility and kindness that were mesmerising. Despite the hardships, his commitment to peace remained unscathed.
Sarah was equally devoted and her innocence captivated Adrian. Despite his focus on his mission, he couldn't help but notice the divine charm she carried in her ordinary persona. The more they worked together, the more they gravitated towards each other.
Doubts lingered in Sarah's mind. Would her divine truth shatter the bond they were forming? With a heavy heart, she decided to reveal the truth to Adrian. The confession shook him, and he found it difficult to believe her. However, looking into her eyes, he recognized the divine truth she carried and somehow accepted the reality before him.
Days turned into months, and the love between them bloomed like a flower in spring. One fateful night, beneath the luminescent moon, Adrian, filled with affection, confessed his love to Sarah, saying, 'I know you're not just Sarah, but Seraphina, an angel from the divine above. I fell for your innocence and your divine soul. I am but a mere human, but my love for you is deeper than any ocean, and stronger than any divine power.'
With those words, a warm glow enveloped her, and her celestial form reemerged. The Creator, pleased with their love, allowed Seraphina to return to her realm with the privilege of love, bearing a human's love to further illuminate her existence, making her the most radiant angel in the celestial realm, forever after.
