The Tower of Forgotten Dreams

Once upon a time, in a land often overlooked in the map of the world, stood a solitary tower that pierced the clouds and touched the heavens themselves. It was known as the Tower of Forgotten Dreams. This strange name, passed through generations, piqued curiosity among the townsfolk and travelers alike, as they wondered what secrets the tower might hold.
The tower existed long before the oldest folks could remember, standing tall since time eternal. Its bronzed bricks shimmered under the smiling sun and glowed under the lustrous moonlight. At first sight, the tower appeared foreboding with its height and majestic architecture; yet, there was an inexplicable, alluring charm about it that beckoned inconspicuously to all curious souls. The rumors about the tower, its unknown origin, and the name added to its mysterious allure.
In this simple town lived a young boy named Theodore. He was a dreamer, a daydreamer, with his head in the clouds and curiosity shining brighter than stars. Fascinated by the tales of the foregone era, Theodore would often gaze at the tower from his window, wondering where it came from and why it was called the 'Tower of Forgotten Dreams'. Being an adventurous soul, young Theodore decided one day that he would unravel the tower's secret.
As Theodore pushed open the groaning, ancient wooden door, a sense of calm overtook him. He found himself surrounded by countless floating orbs glowing with a faint and ethereal light. The orbs were beautiful, glowing softly and fading just as vague dreams would.
As he reached out to touch one, he heard a soft whisper. It was a tale as old as time, a story of a forgotten dream. He moved from one orb to another, listening to the dreams and aspirations people lost in the sands of time. Dreams of love, valor, success, peace, war, every emotion that mankind could conceive was encapsulated here.
While wandering in this dream maze, Theodore stumbled upon a dimly lit corner with an orb slightly bigger than the rest. The orb glowed in a different shade, unlike others. With his heart pounding, Theodore reached out to the orb. As he touched it, he was flooded with an immense surge of emotions, hope, anguish, fear, and love. The dream was that of an ancient king who dreamt of a world filled with love and no deceit— a dream that was forgotten in the hustle of ruling and conquering.
The king had wished for an empire not marked by his victories or wealth but by love, trust, and loyalty of his people. Despite this noble aspiration, duties and expectations constrained him. He couldn't dream his own dream, and hence, it was forgotten.
Taking in the profound sadness that the dream evoked, Theodore felt a deep connection with the forgotten dreams in that cold, mighty tower. He made a promise that day, a pledge. He promised to remember these forgotten dreams and share those tales far and wide so that the dreams would no longer be forgotten, but remembered as a piece of mankind's grand history.
Year after year, Theodore started sharing these tales. Veiled as stories, he narrated them around town. Everywhere he went, the Tower of Forgotten Dreams went with him. People loved his stories, filled with emotions and dreams they instantly connected with.
As for the tower, it changed with every dream Theodore shared. Its bronze sheen was now more radiant, as if warmed by the ease of no longer bearing the weight of forgotten dreams alone. And Theodore, he had become more than a dreamer; he became the guardian and narrator of dreams long forgotten, the Voice of the Tower. Time moved like the wind, rushing, whispering, and Theodore continued his quest, transforming a world one dream at a time.
