The Time Healer

Once upon a time in the bustling city of Indigo, lived a simple yet ingenious man named Ethan. He owned a small shop selling the finest antique clocks. The city's folk admired Ethan not just for his mesmerizing collection, but for his compassionate heart and sense of helping the needy. Ethan was the embodiment of kindness, who lived by the idea 'Time Heals Everything.'
One sunny day, a veiled woman entered his shop. She introduced herself as Ada and asked Ethan if he could repair an ancient clock. It was a gorgeous clock, with elaborate golden designs and intricate engravings. Ethan accepted the task and promised to deliver it by the next full moon. However, as time passed, Ethan struggled to fix the complicated mechanism. He began to despair, feeling that he had undertaken a task beyond his capacity.
One night, as he was nearing exhaustion working on the clock, an odd idea struck him. Recalling the tales his grandfather used to tell him of the city's old library, believed to have ancient schematics and manuals, he decided to find a solution there. The very next morning, Ethan headed towards the library, his heart filled with hope.
The labyrinthine library was a relic of the history the city of Indigo carried. Ethan combed through the rows of dusty shelves, old papers, and moldy books until he stumbled upon a manuscript titled 'Vana Diel's Timepiece Mechanics.' The elaborate illustrations and formulae seemed to be the cure for his problems. Ethan spent days decoding the instructions.
As promised, by the full moon night, Ethan presented Ada with her repaired clock. Mesmerized by the ticking motion and gong of the clock, Ada questioned how Ethan managed it. He merely said, 'Just respecting the instructions of time.'
Ada revealed her true identity, she was the Goddess of Time, who often visited Earth to test and reward the goodness in people. Enchanted by Ethan's tenacity and dedication, she granted him a wish. Ethan wished for his timepieces to have the power to heal, believing in his principle that 'Time heals everything.'
So, the Goddess of Time infused Ethan's clocks with healing powers – each timepiece he repaired brought good fortune, averted disasters, and healed physical and emotional wounds for its owners. News spread about the magical clocks, making Ethan's simple shop famed throughout the realms. But he remained the same kind-hearted horologist, using time to heal and help others.
One day, Ethan met a particularly separate individual. A young boy named Leo carried a broken timepiece, his eyes brimming with hope that Ethan could fix it. The clock was the last memento left to the boy by his late parents. Fixing the clock, Ethan handed it back to Leo, unknowing of the despair the boy had been suffering since his parents' demise. To his surprise, Leo visited him weeks later, contented. The clock did not just remind Leo of the time, but also healed his emotional wounds, bringing him out of his grief-stricken life.
And so, Ethan continued to propagate healing with time, enriching the lives of the people in the city of Indigo, and beyond. The simple man with a compassionate heart became the saviour of many, reinforcing the idea that indeed, 'Time heals everything.'
