The Tale of the Hidden Oasis

Once upon a time, nestled within the golden sands of an endless desert, was a small village. Its people lived a simple life, surviving solely on meager crops, dotted with sporadic tiny oases. The scorching sun made it grueling, perpetually challenging the people's robustness. The village was centered around a solitary well, their life source.
One night, an elderly man named Zafar had a dream. This wasn't just any dream, it was unique. He dreamt of a hidden oasis, vast and glistening, filled with unseen fruits and trees that could feed the entire village and even more, for generations to come. It was said to be nestled in a forgotten part of the desert, surrounded by a ring of dunes, silently waiting to be discovered. The oasis bore a mystical golden tree, which bore a magical fruit, the taste of which could grant eternal life.
Intrigued by his vision, Zafar shared his dream with the rest of the villagers. While many dismissed him as an old fool, a small group of young men were inspired. They decided to embark on the journey to the hidden oasis. Amongst them were Youssef, the blacksmith's son, blessed with brawn; Rashid, the weaver's son, blessed with a sharp mind; and Malik, the potter's son, blessed with artistic finesse.
The journey commenced, enveloping the determined young men within the desert under the scorching sun. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months as they forged ahead, testing their resolve. They endured harsh winds, scorching heat, and chilling coldness, with hope being their guiding light.
Despite many hardships, their will remained unwavering. One day, Malik, with his keen artistic eyes, noticed something unusual. On top of one of the distant sand dunes, he saw a sight that took his breath away - a shimmering spectacle of green dancing under the sunbeams identical to Zafar's description. The mythical oasis was real! Shouts of exhilaration echoed as they rushed towards it.
In the heart of the oasis, stood the majestic golden tree, shimmering under the sun. The tree bore one fruit, gleaming with an ethereal light. Underneath the tree, they found an inscription, 'Only the pure of heart, devoid of greed, can savor the fruit of eternity.' Rashid, with his sharp intellect, discerned the tree's inscription, stating only the righteous one devoid of greed could claim the fruit.
Each decided to bite the fruit, to see if they are the chosen ones. Youssef went first; his bite was met with a bitter taste. He moved away, his greed of having all the fruit had proven he was unworthy. Malik was next, his bite met with an unsurprising sour taste, his self-centeredness to possess the oasis's beauty had clouded his pure intentions. Lastly, Rashid took his bite, and his taste buds met with a euphorically sweet taste. His inherent quality of always prioritizing others before himself, his humility made him the worthy one.
After their discovery, the courageous trio filled their sacks and containers with the unseen fruits and headed back to their village, the memory of the magical golden fruit still fresh. As they returned, the villagers were flabbergasted to see them alive and filled with spirit. They shared their tales with everyone in the village, of their journey, their discovery, and the golden fruit. The entire village celebrated their victory and courage, and from then on, they thrived, with enough food for all and tales of their heroism to inspire generations to come.
