The Tale of Maybelle and Eros
Once upon a time, in the southern province of a small kingdom, lived a young maiden by the name of Maybelle. Bright-eyed with a heart full of courage, Maybelle found joy in the simplest of things, her spirit reflecting her love for life and everything surrounding it. Within the interior of the unexplored forest, she owned a small, unique cottage. It was a cosy shelter, filled with an abundance of books and curious little objects that she'd found during her explorations.
Despite her cheerful demeanor, loneliness clouded her heart as she lived in her small world, her only companions the animals of the forest and her shadow. She longed for someone to share her adventures, her stories, her life. This yearning for companionship, eventually led her to stumble upon a peculiar looking stone in the deepest section of the forest.
The stone was jet black, enshrined by multicolored mushrooms, and uniquely, it pulsed with a strong, magical energy. The curious and knowledge-thirsty Maybelle was drawn towards it instantly. As soon as her fingers made contact with the stone, a bright light engulfed the area and a mystical fairy named Lylac sprang from the stone.
The fairy told her that she had been cursed and imprisoned in the stone by a vengeful sorcerer years ago. The only way to break the curse was through the touch of someone pure of heart. A wave of gratitude flowed through Lylac as she realized that Maybelle had freed her. In return for Maybelle's kindness, Lylac offered to fulfill a wish.
Elated with this unexpected turn of events Maybelle, albeit a little surprised, wished for a companion. Understanding her longing, Lylac summoned all her magic to bless Maybelle with an eternal companion who was an incarnation of her shadow named Eros.

However, their content life was soon to encounter a turning point. The same vengeful sorcerer who had cursed Lylac discovered the existence of Eros. Jealous and in fear of losing his power, he decided to cast a curse that would send Eros to another dimension.
Upon learning this, Maybelle and Eros, with the help of Lylac, decided to face the sorcerer. Combining their knowledge, wit, courage, and the magic of Lylac, they prepared themselves for an arduous battle. The confrontation was horrifying, but their determination and love for each other gave them strength. After a fierce fight, they managed to defeat the sorcerer. Lylac used her magic again to barricade him in a sphere of time and space, to keep him away from causing harm.
Their victory was sweet, their bond unbreakable, and thus peace was returned to their life. The story of Maybelle and Eros went on to become a legend, transcending the barriers of time. They had shown that the bond of companionship and love was powerful enough to overcome even the darkest forces. Meanwhile, Lylac returned to her fairy realm but remained a close ally and a friend to Maybelle and Eros.
