Once upon a time, nestled in the heart of the Eredos Kingdom lay the bustling town of Polaris, named after the guiding star due to its inhabitants' unerring virtue. Polaris was known far and wide for its golden wheat fields, vibrant marketplace, and most importantly, for the sacred shrine of Lotus. Inside this shrine was the legendary Scepter of Light, a powerful object believed to contain a divine relic capable of bringing prosperity or causing destruction depending upon its wielder.
A prophecy had been passed down from generation to generation among the villagers. It said, 'When darkness shall lay its heavy cloak over the sun, a brave heart from amongst us shall rise. With unwavering courage, they will journey, finding their purpose, embracing their bane, to retrieve the lost Scepter of Light from the heart of dusk'. Little did they know, these demure verses of prophecy were about to unfold into their lives.
One day, a dark shadow started covering the sky, blocking the sun's warmth from reaching the Earth. A sense of doom fell upon Polaris. The prophecy echoed in everyone's minds, and alarm spread through the village. Farmers, tradesmen, even the age-old, looked for the 'brave heart' who would retrieve the lost Scepter of Light.

Though fearful, Avery and Greyla stood firm. Avery, with his sword and Greyla with her fierce protecting instincts, attacked the beast courageously. After a considerable struggle, Avery managed to strike Lurker down using a tactic taught by his grandpa – allow the enemy to underestimate you.
With Lurker defeated, a beam of light cut through the darkness, leading Avery to the Scepter. Once he held the Scepter, a wave of hope swept over him, and a ray of light erupted from the dark sky back at Polaris. The villagers watched in awe as the Sun re-emerged and the looming darkness faded.
Avery, along with Greyla, journeyed back to Polaris, and their return was celebrated with awe and warmth. The villagers celebrated their victory over the shadow, and Avery, with his bravery, reinforced the village's faith in virtue and courage. He proved that hope never bowed to fear, and perseverance made even the impossible possible.
