The Rise of the Unseen

Once upon a time, in a fantasy kingdom of Avidora, the human race lived peacefully. The kingdom's power was unrivaled, their prosperity unmatched, and their people brimmed with happiness. But there was one prophecy every Avidorian grew up hearing - the Rise of the Unseen. Avidorians were fragile beings, relying heavily on their warriors, the Sentries, who safeguarded their land. The prophecy predicted a future where the Unseen creatures, beings from another dimension, could slither into Avidora, bringing bewilderment and chaos.
Damian, a young Sentry who had exceptional skills but was often considered an outsider due to his unconventional ideas, started having strange dreams. He saw an ocean of darkness consuming the bright kingdom, faces contorted in fear, and heard a deafening roar followed by eerie silence. Shaken, Damian approached the royal council. But the council dismissed his dreams as mere delusions, causing a deep unrest in Damian's heart.
Unable to sit idle, Damian took matters into his own hands and embarked on an expedition to find the Truth. His journey began at the Avidorian library that held arcane scriptures. It was here that Damian found the ancient Book of Dria, which unveiled a tale of a portal to the Unseen world that could be activated under specific celestial alignments.
The next alignment was soon due. Damian, feeling a sense of urgency, journeyed to the ‘Lost Peaks’ where the portal was rumored to be located. Braving the treacherous terrains and unforeseen dangers, he reached the top of the peak as the celestial alignment began to take place.
Amid the celestial spectacle, he saw the portal come to life, and then something that chilled him right down to his bones - emerging Unseen creatures, just like his dream. Meanwhile, the kingdom, caught off guard, fell into panic as the Unseen creatures began to wreak havoc.
Back in the kingdom, the Council, forced to believe, sought the last remaining survivor of an ancient sect who knew the formidable magic that was capable of sending the Unseen back to their dimension - Zara. Although a recluse, Zara felt responsible for the kingdom’s fate and rose to the occasion.
As Damian held his ground against the Unseen, Zara entered the battleground, flanked by other Sentries. Zara, mustering all her strength, cast a spell. The Unseen, previously unbeatable, started to weaken. Damian took this opportunity to lead his fellow warriors into attacking, and together they drove the Unseen back towards the portal. Amid cries and roars, Zara recited the final verse, and the portal sucked in the remaining Unseen, closing instantly.
The kingdom was saved. Damian's dreams were not delusions; they were warnings to prepare for the prophecy. The young Sentry’s relentless quest led the kingdom to uncover old magic, and the recluse Zara emerged as the unexpected Saviour of Avidora. The king honored them for their courage and sacrifice. The story of their heroics spread across the kingdom, ending with everyone acknowledging that inclusive ideas are the pathway to survival.
What this did to the kingdom was unexpected. Having witnessed the power of the Unseen, people opened up their minds to accept the existence of different elements beyond their realm, hailing the prophecy and the heroics as the rise of the unseen. The event had awakened them to the existence of the unseen aspects not just outside their realm, but within their people - potential, courage, wisdom, all waiting for the right circumstances to surface and deliver greatness. From then on, Avidora became a land where people were seen not just by their appearance, but by their actions and potential, leading to the real rise of the unheard and the unseen.
