The Rise of The Forgotten Prince

Once upon a time, in the grand kingdom of Nordra, a prince was born. His parents named him Elden. His birth was a great celebration, yet overshadowed by his elder brother Aren, whom the kingdom heralded as the more powerful, audacious, and rightful heir. Prince Elden was always left in the background, dismissed and forgotten, his existence merely an echo of his elder brother's glory.
Elden grew up under the shadow of this difference. His keen intellect often tested by intricate riddles his father, King Alden, would give him. Despite his answers always being clever and accurate, they earned him nothing more than a pat on the back. Yet, he bore no jealousy or hatred towards his brother; instead, he had infinite admiration and deep-seated love for Aren.
One ill-fated day, an outbreak of a deadly disease known as 'The Sorrow Plague' swept through Nordra. The kingdom lost many of its strong warriors, including Prince Aren, who tragically fell victim to it, shaking the kingdom to its core. A flicker of hope ignited amidst the dusky sorrow when the ancient prophecy of the kingdom was recalled. The prophecy stated that 'A prince of intelligence and valiant heart would find the eternal cure, vanquish the plague, and lead the kingdom into a new era of prosperity and health.'
With his brother's heroic deed left unfinished and his kingdom in distress, Elden realized that he was the kingdom's last hope. The prince, who was deemed insignificant, now found a profound purpose. And so, the forgotten prince embarked on a quest to seek out the eternal cure.
Elden journeyed to the forgotten lands of Myrth, where the cure was believed to reside. Surmounting challenges that tested both his physical prowess and impeccable intelligence, he solved enigmas, battled mythical beasts, and traversed treacherous terrains. Despite the perils, Elden remained undeterred, his determination fueled by his fervor to save his people.
He finally arrived at the cavern of Calyspo, where the eternal cure was said to be hidden. It was guarded by the cerulean dragon, Erif. Erif proposed a riddle, and if solved, the dragon would grant him the cure. Mustering every ounce of courage and wisdom, Elden addressed the riddle, impressing Erif. The dragon, true to his word, relinquished the eternal cure.
True to his noble heart, Elden returned to Nordra. The forgotten prince was not forgotten anymore. His return stirred the kingdom, their hearts filled with hope. The cure was administered, halting the plague's devastating march. The kingdom slowly healed, restoring its lost vigor and charm. Grateful cheers rang out in the kingdom. A once overlooked prince now stood as the people's savior.
King Alden, teeming with pride and joy, declared Elden as the rightful heir to the throne, marking the dawn of a new era in the kingdom of Nordra. From then onward, Elden ruled with dignity, wisdom, and love, leading his kingdom towards an era of prosperity, health, and peace, just as the prophecy had foretold.
Elden’s story goes to show that it is not power and audacity, but kindness, intelligence, and a valiant heart that truly defines one’s worth. Sometimes the ones overlooked, the ones considered weaker, hold the most potent ability to transform despair into hope and weakness into strength.
