'In the belly of the beast, below the ocean’s crest, resides the Emerald's rest.' With a spark of realization, Lysander understood. The belly of the beast was the infamous Abyssal Trench, the deepest part of Maraud's surrounding ocean.
With the guidance of his trusty map, Lysander set sail across the ocean. He had to dive into the Abyssal Trench to fetch the Emerald. It was a task fraught with danger, but he also knew it was his only chance to retrieve the magical gem.
Equipped with his enchanted diving-gear, Lysander plunged into the ocean, fearlessly descending into the heart of the Abyssal Trench. The sight that greeted him was breath-taking. The trench was full of otherworldly luminescent plants and creatures, painting a vibrant world in the otherwise dark and haunting depths of the ocean.
Searching among the oceanic marvels, he finally found the Emerald of Eternity nestled amidst an ancient shipwreck, its green light illuminating the surrounding gloom. Triumphantly, he snatched the gem and swiftly ascended to his ship.
Lysander returned to Maraud a hero; pride written all over his face. The emperor was overjoyed to see the return of the Emerald of Eternity and gave Lysander his well-deserved reward, a chest filled with innumerable treasures. Lysander had become the wealthiest person in Maraud overnight.
