The Prophecy of Arrandel

Once upon a time, in the heart of the kingdom of Arrandel, there sat a colossal castle made of glistening white marble that reflected majestically in the bright sun. The castle was home to King Rupert, who was known far and wide for his wisdom and just rule. However, there was something that was troubling King Rupert deeply, an impending doom that he often saw in his dreams; an army of undead soldiers had invaded and ruined his beloved kingdom.
This fear made King Rupert take a desperate decision. He employed the services of a group of enigmatic individuals who lived on the outskirts of Arrandel, known as the 'Guardians of Veil.' The Guardians were rumored to possess an ancient black stone, called the 'Shadowstone,' that could see into the future.
The leader of the Guardians, an aged woman named Elara, stared into the stone. Her visions confirmed King Rupert's worst fears. However, the visions also mentioned a prophecy about a chosen one, a young lad belonging to the kingdom, destined to save Arrandel from the impending doom.
The information spread quickly, and before long the entire kingdom had heard of the prophecy. All the families of the kingdom started bringing their sons forward, hoping that their child might be the foretold champion.
All the while, in the darkest corner of the kingdom lived a poor coal miner named Edgar and his bright-eyed son, Mathias. Edgar, despite his poverty, had taught Mathias to be brave and kind. Inspired by the prophecy, young Mathias decided to present himself as a potential chosen one.
When Mathias arrived at the castle, the court was filled with young nobles. King Rupert was about to dismiss him due to his humble background, given the gravity of the looming danger. However, Elara, who had been observing Mathias, intervened. Something about Mathias, his sparkling eyes and unpretentious demeanor, made her believe he could be the child from the prophecy.
With the king's approval, Mathias began a rigorous training with the Guardians. He learned the art of sword-fighting, archery, and even the ancient magical defense skills. Despite the physical and mental exhaustion, Mathias persevered.
Months passed, and the threat of the undead army became more apparent as dark clouds started to gather around Arrandel. The time had come to test whether Mathias was genuinely chosen. With the Shadowstone glowing ominously, Mathias placed his hand on it. It shimmered brightly before revealing a vision of Mathias, leading an army of light against the undead.
Thus, Mathias, the young coal miner's son, became the beacon of hope for Arrandel. He led the defense when the undead attacked and, after a long, gruesome battle, emerging victorious. His courage, strength, and unprecedented leadership saved the kingdom.
Under his rule, the kingdom flourished, and everyone lived happily ever after, remembering the prophecy of a humble boy who had become their savior. King Rupert, in his twilight years, led a peaceful life, proud of the kingdom that Mathias had protected.
