The Princess and The Dragon of Alabaster

Once upon a time, in the deepest reaches of the Shiwan Forest, nestled between mighty mountains and an enchanting river, lay the peaceful kingdom of Alabaster. The kingdom, known for its white stone structures glistening in the sun, was famous for its harmony, prosperity, and the wisdom of its King, Arthur.
Arthur was a fair and just ruler. Besides his wisdom, he was known for his trust in humanity, his captivating charisma, and his love for his people. King Arthur had a daughter, Princess Amanda. She was a spitting image of her father, mirroring not just in appearance, but also in kindness, intelligence, and an ardent believer of peace.
Princess Amanda, however, had more than her father's qualities. While Arthur was charmed by the heavens, the princess harbored an unusual affinity with the Earth. She could feel the pain of withering flowers, hear trees whisper about the impending weather, touch a stone and know its journey, everything that seemed supernatural to the people of Alabaster. The queen mother, before passing, had left words of Amanda's mysterious bond with the Earth.
One day, a cursed dragon, Volvagia, attacked Alabaster, who previously resided peacefully in the heart of the mountains. Apparently, a rogue wizard, angered and jealous of the harmony of Alabaster, had enchanted Volvagia circulating havoc. The dragon's fiery wrath began to wreck the splendid kingdom once known for tranquility.
King Arthur, with his brave soldiers, tried to fight the enraged beast but was met with defeat every time. The kingdom was plunged into chaos, despair, and relentless fear. The once gleaming kingdom with happy faces began hosting ashes of destruction and wet eyes.
Amanda, with her heart heavy at the sight of their rapidly destructing home and people, decided to act. She visited by the ancient Seeress, who lived by the edge of the kingdom. After explaining the sad plight of Alabaster, Amanda said, 'I can feel the dragon's pain too. And I believe, that's not entirely his fault.'
The Seeress, aware of Amanda's unique bond, closed her eyes and immersed herself into a deep, spiritual silence. Moments later, she revealed, 'The Earth has chosen you, child. In the embrace of nature lies your power. You, and only you, can release the dragon from the curse.'
With newfound determination, Amanda journeyed towards the dragon's lair deep in the mountains. As she neared, Volvagia got ready to spew fire. Amanda, however, stood her grounds. She reached out her hand, fingers pointing towards the dragon, letting the vibrant aura of nature around her seep into the beast. She muttered ancient, lost words only the Earth could teach her.
The dragon, once enraged, slowly began to calm. Its fiery red eyes turned a serene blue, the fire in its mouth died down revealing a fearful creature reeking of pain and torment. The enchantment was negated, and the dragon, looking confused but calm, took to the heavens, leaving Alabaster alone.
Upon Amanda's return, the kingdom erupted into joyous celebration. The princess, with her humble nature, dismissed her heroism to her love for Alabaster and whispered a silent prayer of peace, thanking the Earth.
The tale of Amanda and the dragon never faded from Alabaster's history, teaching generations the power of understanding, courage, and the bond with nature. Pristine peace made home in Alabaster again, and the white stone structures sparkled once more, under the watchful and wise reign of its King and the savior Princess.
