The Prince and the Blue Moon

Once upon a time in Windsorville, Kingdom of Love, was born a prince named Charles. However, unlike the other princes who were born with grace and virtues, Charles was born with a strange curse that he would turn into a frog at night as soon as the clock ticked midnight. The King, Queen, and the inhabitants of the kingdom were worried about this strange condition but they loved Prince Charles unconditionally and kept his condition a secret.
Prince Charles grew up to be handsome, intelligent, and kind-hearted. He was loved by everyone in the kingdom. But, his transformation every night brought him immense sorrow. He yearned for an ordinary life where he could enjoy late-night feasts and balls. But alas! He was a frog by then. He dreamed every day of finding a way to break the curse.
One day, an old sage arrived at the Kingdom of Love. On hearing about the plight of Prince Charles, he revealed to the king that Charles's curse could be broken with true love's kiss under the light of a blue moon that occurs once every decade. Since Charles was turning 20 soon, the following blue moon slated to happen could be his only chance to break the curse.
True to his purpose, Charles began searching across borders and among neighboring kingdoms for his true love. Meanwhile, in the neighboring Kingdom of Prosperity lived Princess Sophia, who was known for her kind heart, radiant beauty, and indomitable spirit. A friendship soon blossomed between the two over numerous royal meetings and horse racing tournaments.
They often embarked on long horse rides across the pastures, and Sophia found herself falling in love with Charles, oblivious to his curse. Sophia expressed her feelings to Charles, who was also in love with Sophia, but he couldn't bear the thought of her having to face his curse. Torn between wanting to reciprocate her feelings and the fear of his own curse, Charles isolated himself.
The blue moon night was racing its way. Sophia, unable to understand Charles's strange behavior, visited the Kingdom of Love demanding explanation. The king and queen, seeing no other way, revealed Charles's curse to her. Devastated and shocked Sophia locked herself in her castle.
The kingdom was under a gloomy cloud as the blue moon night approached. Charles, having lost all hope, awaited his transformation at the royal gardens. As the clock struck midnight, a familiar sound of horse hooves echoing echoed the silence. To his absolute surprise, it was Sophia, holding onto her bridle and mounting off her horse. She approached the transformed Charles, who was now a frog. Her eyes filled with determination, and without any fear—she bent down, held the frog gently in her hands, and planted a loving kiss.
Under the perfect blue moon night, something magical happened. Charles transformed back into a human amidst a bright light and enchanting music. The curse was broken, and the entire Kingdom of Love rejoiced. Charles and Sophia expressed their love for each other with a warm hug and later got married in a grand wedding.
Henceforth, they lived happily ever after, advising all that true love isn't just admiring one's perfections, but embracing their imperfections too. Their story has since then been resonating in the corridors of time, serving as a beacon of pure, unconditional love
