The Prince, the Wolf and The Shard of Seraphim

There was a small kingdom, nestled between mountains and forests, far removed from the affairs of the world, known as Arden. The people were humble, the king was just, and prosperity echoed in its air. The kingdom's crowning jewel was its prince, Evander, a young man of courage and wit, revered equally for his compassion as for his cunning swordsmanship.
Evander was an adventurer at heart, unfettered by the royal responsibilities of his birthright. He had a fabled companion, a mystical white wolf named Argos with starlight in its fur and wisdom in his sapphire eyes, gifted to Evander by an enigmatic sorceress years ago as thanks for a favor he had done. The prince and the wolf shared an unyielding bond, traversing lands far and near, unearthing ancient sources of magic and battling dark creatures.
One day, an ominous prophecy came forth—the kingdom of Arden would plunge into an eternal darkness, and only the 'Shard of Seraphim', a mythical gem held by the dreaded dragon, Drakon could save it. Brimming with courage, Evander, armed with his golden royal sword, set off on an adventure with Argos. Both knew the voyage was laden with mortal peril, but they were unyielding in their resolve to protect their kingdom.
They journeyed through the forbidden forest, survived the river of raging flames, and climbed the dusk mountains. Each challenge deciphered and conquered deepened their bond and honed their resilience. Finally, they reached the Dragon's Lair, guarded by Drakon, the dragon with scales as black as night and eyes as red as the setting sun.
A battle of epic proportions ensued, the clashing roars of prince and dragon echoing through the cavernous lair. Evander fought valiantly, and in a decisive and daring move, managed to fell the dragon. But, not before Drakon's fiery breath grazed his arm, gravely injuring him. Evander retrieved the 'Shard of Seraphim', his diminished strength contrasting the gem's mesmerizing radiance.
On their return journey, Evander, weakened from his wound, fell into a deep sleep. Argos, realizing the extent of Evander's injuries, raced against time, crossing obstacles, and reached the kingdom's gates just as the eternal darkness started creeping in the horizon.
The kingdom's chief healer, a venerable woman with magic in her veins, used the 'Shard of Seraphim' to cast a divine light that held the darkness at bay. Concurrently, she healed Evander, his injury proving to be a formidable foe even to her ancient magic.
The darkness was thwarted, and the prince, finally stirring awake, was hailed a hero. The prince and Argos, their bond stronger than ever, celebrated with their people, their victory illuminating the kingdom with joy and relief. But as the heroes of the day retreated to the castle, they smilingly cast a look at the borders of Arden, wondering what their next adventure might be.
