The Noble Prince of Zorba
Once upon a time, in a distant land of Zorba, there was a magical tree known as 'The Tree of Eternity'. It was an ancient tree that endowed anyone who came near it with everlasting life. However, only creatures pure of heart could gain such a blessing. Zorba was a beautiful kingdom, teeming with wildlife and lush landscapes, proudly ruled by a noble king, King Zenas.
King Zenas was known throughout the land for his wisdom and kind heart. He had a beautiful and wise queen, Queen Kilarna, and a gallant prince, Prince Helion. The Royal family was deeply loved by the people of Zorba, yet only King Zenas knew of 'The Tree of Eternity' and its divine powers. The King, growing old, was aware that his time was nearing.
One day, after years of living harmoniously, Zorba was attacked by their neighbouring kingdom, Draken, and its malicious king, King Drakenridge. King Drakenridge was a power-hungry sovereign who was revered and feared across many lands. He was aware of the mystical Tree of Eternity and yearned for its power, planning to become unstoppable and conquer all kingdoms.
During the initial attack, King Zenas was mortally wounded. On his deathbed, he divulged the secret of the Tree of Eternity to Prince Helion. Entrusting the secret and the future of Zorba to his son, the king passed away, leading Helion into a whirlpool of grief and responsibility. Young but wise beyond his years, Helion accepted his role to protect Zorba and its people.
Helion, who had always dreamt of a world of peace, couldn't bring himself to strategize a war. Instead, he opted for a personal confrontation with King Drakenridge, hoping to dissuade him from this destructive path. Carrying his father's sword and hope, he ventured alone into the kingdom of Draken.
Confrontation with Drakenridge was nothing as he had imagined. The malicious king dismissed his plea for peace, ridiculed his naive thoughts of unity. Mocking Helion, Drakenridge challenged him for a duel, confident in his belief that Helion, lacking in battle experience, didn't stand a chance.
The duel was intense, brutal yet striking. The kingdom watched in silent dread, praying for a miracle. Just when the situation appeared grim, Helion's memories of his father and the people of Zorba gave him a newfound strength. Despite the odds, the young prince managed to strike down King Drakenridge with a single stroke, ending the dreadful reign of terror.
The people of Draken were in awe of Helion, and Zorba danced in victory, their prince returning home as their new king. Helion did not seize Draken but instead freed the people from their tyrant king's rule, promising them a future of peace and equality.
With persistent hard work and mutual respect, Zorba and Draken began to prosper as united lands. Years later, the tale of the noble prince and the Tree of Eternity became a legendary story in the world, reminding everyone that power truly belonged to those whose hearts were pure and intentions noble.
