The Mystical Golden Deer of Einkorn
Once upon a time, there was a small, quaint village on the edge of the Hinta Forest named Einkorn. Einkorn was known for its balmy, pleasant days, serene nights and the friendly inhabitants who had a fondness of magical tales and folklore. The village though tiny and innocuous held a secret of its own, the story of a mystical golden deer.
This tale begins with a poor yet humble blacksmith named, Bertram. He lived alone, as his wife had left the world, leaving him and their daughter, Clara. Left with nothing but a meagre income, Bertram struggled to provide Clara with a comfortable life. However, Clara was a shimmering ray of hope. She always carried an infectious smile and was inquisitive about her surroundings, the most about the mystical golden deer.
Rumours filtered down that the golden deer emerged from the depths of Hinta Forest during the full moon. They said it illuminated the surroundings with its golden light and possessed powers that could fulfill one's deepest desires. Despite the numerous attempts by the villagers, no one could ever track down the golden deer. Clara yearned to witness this magical creature and unlike others, she had no desires but just a sincere hope.
On a da day, when the moon was in its fullest, Clara ventured into the Hinta Forest. The forest was daunting and eerily silent. She walked for hours, following the moonlight filtering through the dense canopy until she reached a sparkling lake. And there it was, the resplendent golden deer quietly drinking water from the lake.
Amazed by the sight, Clara walked slowly towards it. Surprisingly, the deer didn't scamper off. Instead, it turned to look at Clara and as their eyes met, she felt a sense of warmth washing over her. The mystical golden deer stepped closer. Lost in its resplendent beauty, Clara reached out to touch it and as she did, a bright light enveloped them.
When Clara opened her eyes, she saw she was standing in front of her house. It was spanking new, with a signboard, 'The Golden Deer Blacksmith.' Inside, her father was working on a block of glistening golden metal. Thehouse was filled with beautifully sculptured artworks made out of the same golden metal.
Her father looked at her, his face beaming with joy. Clara was startled! The golden deer had indeed granted a wish, not hers but her father's. Bertram was now the richest blacksmith in the kingdom. The story of Clara and mystical golden deer became a legend in the village of Einkorn.
After that night, the golden deer was never seen again. However, Clara was fulfilled. She knew that she just didn't want to see the deer, but she wanted its magic to change their lives. And, it did.
Till this day, the tale of the mystical golden deer has been the most loved folklore in Einkorn. The villagers experienced the magic through the golden artworks that adorned their houses from the 'Golden Deer Blacksmith'. The secret of the quaint village was finally unraveled. The mystical golden deer was the savior of Einkorn who was witnessed by a loving daughter. Clara proved that magic existed not merely in the mystical deer but true desires and hope.
