One day, a mysterious old man named Alaric, a wanderer of sorts, arrived in Serendipity. He brought with him tales from other lands, and for the first time, Tobias saw a reflection of his desires in another person. Intrigued by Alaric's stories of the world beyond, Tobias began to spend more time with the old man, soaking in his nomadic wisdom.
