The Melody of the Iron Lyre

Once upon a time, in the quiet town of Avillon, lived a young man named William. Being the son of the town's blacksmith, he was skilled in crafting things from wood and iron. However, his heart wasn't dedicated to following his father's steps, for he was enamored by the art of music. His father, a stern man, was not in support of this passion of his, often telling him, 'Music is for entertainers, my boy, not for the sons of blacksmiths.'
Nevertheless, every night, beneath the shimmering stars, William would take his handmade wooden lyre and strum the sweetest melodies, filled with emotions that rolled down the cheeks of listeners as tear drops. It was during one of such musical nights that a mysterious stranger visited Avillon.
Cloaked in dark robes, the stranger was tall, thin, and had strange tattoos all over his face. No one knew who he was or where he had come from. One night, he went to see William playing his lyre. The melodious music touched the stranger’s heart so profoundly that, as if involuntarily, he started weeping.
Impressed with the young lad's music, the stranger revealed himself to be a magical entity named Eldrion from a distant realm where music holds magical powers. He offered to teach William the art of enchanting through music. Although hesitant at first, the prospects of turning his melodies into enchanting hymns were too tempting for William to resist.
Days turned into weeks, weeks into months; under Eldrion’s guidance, William started to master the art of magical music. His tunes brought rain to the parched fields and blooming flowers to barren lands. The villagers began to respect William and his music, and even his stern father couldn’t hide his pride.
Everything seemed perfect, until one day, a monstrous entity called Dreagon descended upon Avillon. Destined to destroy harmonious realm, Dreagon had heard about young William and his magical music. As William strummed his lyre to cast a protecting charm over Avillon, Dreagon cast a powerful spell that snapped the strings of the lyre. The music stopped, and a sense of dread spread across the village.
With the town’s heartbeats echoing in his ears, William mustered the courage to face Dreagon. Remembering his crafting skills, he hurried back to his father’s workshop, and there, he did the unthinkable. Using his father’s anvil, iron, and hammer, he crafted an entirely new lyre. But this time, the strings were made of the strongest steel, immune to Dreagon’s power.
As William strummed his iron lyre, the powerful melody reverberated across Avillon. The resonance of the song clashed with Dreagon’s power, causing a maelstrom of magical energy. The enchanting hymn ultimately overpowered Dreagon's spell, putting him into an eternal sleep and saving Avillon.
From that day, William, the blacksmith's son, wasn't just a musician but a savior and hero. His melodies echoed not just in Avillon, but in realms beyond, living forever in the stories and hearts of all beings.
