The love of the Star-crossed travellers

In a universe far away from ours was the bustling Cosmos city, living amidst the dazzling constellation of Ursa Major. A city where technology and nature lived in harmony and the citizens were diverse, hailed from various planets and galaxies. Among them lived our advanced humanoid alien, Orion, from the planet Kepler-186f, famous for his genius in theoretical physics and time travel studies. On the contrary of this vast universe, was the planet Earth, 490 light-years away, inhabited by advanced creatures called humans.
A young marine biologist named Ella from Monterey, California, on Earth often paid visits to the sea shores collecting samples for her research on the behaviour of bioluminescent organisms. Ella possessed an indomitable spirit and an insatiable curiosity about the cosmos, common star constellations having a special place in her heart.
One such night, in his quest to explore new civilizations, Orion's spaceship got off track due to an unexpected asteroid hit, crash landing him on Earth’s Pacific coastline. Orion, who had a device to alter his appearance to blend in with local inhabitants, came across Ella who was engrossed in observing star constellations. A chance meeting under the sparkling night sky filled with stars started the beginnings of a beautiful encounter.
Orion and Ella would meet every night, Orion entranced by Ella's passion for her work and her love for the stars; Ella, on the other hand, was drawn to Orion's knowledge of celestial bodies, galaxies, and his sophisticated technology. Orion would often show Ella various constellations and celestial events seen only from other galaxies, using advanced holographic projections from his home planet.
They grew closer, bonding over their shared adoration for the cosmos. Ella, completely unaware of Orion’s true identity, fell in love with his brilliance, his kindness and his unique perspective on the stars. Meanwhile, Orion found himself drawn to Ella’s sprightly spirit, her earthy intelligence, and overlooked the regulations that warned him against revealing his identity or falling in love with a being from another planet. He reciprocated Ella's love and revealed his true form to her. Ella, surprised but not afraid, accepted Orion’s true form and his feelings.
Happiness, however, was short-lived. Orion's crash landing had alerted Cosmos city’s security, who traced him back to Earth. An elite task force was sent to bring back Orion to stand trial for breaking laws of inter-planetary travel and concealment. But by the time they arrived, Orion was nowhere to be found.
Ella informed the task force of Orion's studies on time travel. She persuaded them to give Orion one chance to alter the past and right his wrongs. The agreement was made on the condition that Ella forgets everything about Orion and will have no memory of their encounter.
Orion, who had already developed a time-travel device with the help of Earth's resources, travels back to the exact moment when an asteroid hit his spaceship. This time, he avoids the hit and thus the crash landing on Earth, causing a parallel reality where he never meets Ella.
As the task force returns to Cosmos city with the news of Orion's success, Ella finds herself on the shores of Monterey, looking up at the star-lit sky. She gazes onto the constellation of Ursa Major with a deep-seated fascination without any memory of the star-crossed love she once shared with Orion.
Back in Cosmos city, Orion keeps an eye on Ella from his star encrusted telescope, looking at her longingly while he continues to research ways to safely interact with other civilizations, hoping that one day, he could meet Ella without altering the laws of inter-planetary encounters.
Thus, their love remains untold and unexplored, like the vast stretches of the universe, reverberating through different galaxies and times, an echo of the love between the star-crossed travellers.
