The Lost City of Magnolia

In a time long forgotten, there existed a sprawling city full of enchantment and allure, known as 'Magnolia'. Nestled between the rolling hills and mystical forests, Magnolia was a city of extraordinary marvel. The grandeur of the city was not about the splendid buildings or the glittering amber roads. It was deeper, resonating from the soul of the community with vibrant energy and joy.
The kingdom was meticulously ruled by the 'All-Knowledgeable King Erudite', a man whose wisdom surpassed even the Monks of Ancient Trends. His queen, 'Lady Elysium', was as radiant as the North Star and as gentle as the morning breeze. The people lived in harmony with nature, contended and happy, embracing joy, love, and wisdom as the essence of life. Their source of strength was the 'Wisdom Tree', a divine tree producing fruits that bestowed knowledge, wisdom and longevity.
But peace was not to persist for an eternity. A mighty wizard, Covetus, driven by greed, learnt about the Wisdom Tree. Covetus tricked the king to reveal the location of the Tree. Using his insidious magic, he destroyed King Erudite, making himself the sovereign of Magnolia. Covetus tried eating the fruit, but instead of getting wisdom, he turned into an ancient, feeble creature. The reason was the divine fruit granted knowledge only to the wise-hearted and virtuous.
Unable to bear the sight of poisoned city, Queen Elysium fled into the forest, carrying a seed of the Wisdom Tree. In the forest, she wept beside a secluded lake, her tears falling onto the seed and making it sprout.
Back in Magnolia, the city was suffering under the reign of Covetus. The lush, vibrant gardens were now lifeless, and the delightful hum of the city was replaced with an eerie silence. The people were growing desperate, and hope was dimming.
Decades passed. One day, a rose-cheeked boy, Lysander, stumbled upon the sprout in the forest while looking for herbs. The sprout grew into a tiny tree, narrating the entire saga to Lysander. Astonished, he convinced his companions, bold Thea and wise Ari, to join him on a quest to save Magnolia.
With the Wisdom Tree's guidance, they braved challenges, learnt lessons of bravery, friendship, and sacrifice. Soon, they found a spell that could weaken Covetus. But the spell needed the most potent ingredient - tear of genuine remorse.
The day of confronting Covetus arrived. A grandiose battle ensued. Even in his feebleness, Covetus was formidable. The dreadful sight of Covetus weakened Lysander's resolve, but the unwavering Thea and thoughtful Ari stood their ground. Suddenly, Ari realised Covetus’ weakened state was his genuine remorse. He raced toward him and caught a tear, adding it to the spell.
Lysander uttered the spell, and the castle shook violently. Covetus lost control of his powerful magic, and then - silence. Where Covetus stood moments before was now a frail old man, the curse broken. The city was liberated, and joy returned.
Queen Elysium, drawn by the city's newfound liveliness, returned and was elated to discover her son was one of the liberators. Reunited, they celebrated the downfall of Covetus and the rise of Magnolia. People acknowledged their heroes - Lysander, Thea and Ari; and the wisdom incarnate under the revived Wisdom Tree.
So, Magnolia rose from the ashes, blossoming under Queen Elysium and King Lysander. The memory of the dark times served as a reminder of their strength and unity, a testament to their spirit. Thus, the tale of Magnolia, the city that was lost then found, became a legendary tale across the Seven Seas and Gods' mirthful heavens.
