The Lost City of Crystals

Once upon a time, in a world much similar to ours, hidden deep inside an uncharted forest, lied the mystical city of Crystals. Harboured by the dense shadows of the woods, its spires glowed with multi-coloured hues, narrating tales of beauty and magic.
The Crystals were not mere stones, they were the embodiment of pure, concentrated life force. They had the power to heal, grant strength, wisdom and one's deepest desires. This city, was a mythical prize coveted by kings, warriors and wizards alike. Yet, for centuries, the city of Crystals remained elusive, guarded by mystical creatures and treacherous paths.
Our story revolves around a brave and noble heart, a young girl named Iris. She was an urchin, surviving on the rough streets of a tiny village nestled against the forest. Despite her hardships, she had a heart full of curiosity and dreams. One dream that outshone the others was to discover the lost city of Crystals and use their power to heal her ailing grandmother.
One day, she gathered her courage, packed a small bag with food and water, and stepped into the dark, foreboding forest. In the heart of the woods, Iris met an old, wise wolf who revealed himself to be the guardian of the crystal city. He was impressed by Iris's bravery and kind heart. In order to test her, he gave her three challenges— in each challenge, Iris had to prove her worth by making difficult choices that tested her heart's purity.
In the first challenge, Iris encountered a trapped bird. Despite the risk of her possible escape flying away, she freed the bird. In the second challenge, she stumbled upon a tree about to fall on a sleeping bear cub. Even though it could wake and attack her, she shoved the tree away and left the cub unharmed. In her third and final challenge, Iris found an old woman alone and lost in the woods. The woman pleaded with Iris to help her return to her village, just as the city of Crystals was in sight. Torn but resolute, Iris helped the old woman, choosing kindness over her dream.
The old woman, touched by Iris's selflessness, revealed herself to be the Spirit of the Forest. She had been sent by the wise wolf to administer the final test. Overjoyed, the Spirit of the Forest led Iris straight to the heart of the city of Crystals.
Finally, standing in front of the radiant Crystals, Iris's heart swelled with triumph. But rather than using the Crystals to only heal her grandmother, she asked them to share their healing powers with the whole world. The Crystals, impressed by her compassion, granted her wish and turned into thousands of small crystals, showering down upon the world, healing the sick and injured, and bringing an era of peace and prosperity.
So, the tale of the brave little girl echoes in the wind, across the healed villages, over the whispering trees of that now gentle forest- a tale of courage, kindness, and compassion. And though the city of Crystals had disappeared into myth once more, its legacy lived on in the hearts of the people, in the form of a young girl named Iris.
