King Reginald was the tenth king of Seren.
One day, a malicious sorcerer named Kalden, driven by jealousy and ambition, decided to bring about the doom early. He conjured up dark mystical creatures that brought havoc, plunging the kingdom into darkness and despair. The people cried out for help, and their pleas reached the heart of a simple, frail washerwoman, Maelis. She had a heart of pure gold and was loved by everyone in the kingdom for her kindness.
Despite her impoverished condition, she decided to save her kingdom and its people. She sought the guidance of the ancient elf, Galadan, who lived in seclusion. Galadan revealed a weapon that could defeat Kalden's dark forces - The Tear of Lumus. A tear from the angel Lumus, hardened into a sparkling gem that gleamed with etherealness.

At the shrine, Maelis invoked Lumus. Moved by her innocence and purity, Lumus shed a tear which turned into the glimmering gem. With the Tear of Lumus in her possession, Maelis returned to Seren. The kingdom was nearly lost; dark creatures were running amuck, sowing chaos and destruction.
Maelis approached Kalden fearlessly. Ignoring his malicious laugh, she held aloft the Tear of Lumus, which gleamed brightly, exuding a powerful aura. The dark creatures shrieked in terror and were vaporized instantly. Kalden, paralyzed with shock, was unable to retaliate. The Tear of Lumus released a burst of light that engulfed Kalden, vanquishing him for good. Light returned to the kingdom, and joyous cheers echoed across the valley.
In the aftermath, serenity returned to Seren. Maelis, the humble washerwoman, was celebrated as a hero. King Reginald bestowed upon her the title 'The Light of Seren,' citing her bravery and selflessness. Maelis remained humble, stating that she did what any kind-hearted individual would do for their home. Her story was etched into the annals of Seren, remembered and retold by generations to come as a testament of an innocent heart's might.
King Reginald continued to rule Seren with even more benevolence, ensuring peace reigned.
