The Ligas: Guardians of the Sacred Flame

In the verdant and tranquil plains of Arvedor, nestled away from the uncharted terrains of civilization, lived an extraordinary tribe called The Ligas. Known for their enigmatic language and unique lore, they were the guardians of the Sacred Flame.
The Sacred Flame was peculiar fire. It was not ignited by a physical flame, it ignited itself when the Ligas performed their tribal prayers. The flame portrayed various hues of vibrant colors, unlike ordinary fire. It was a symbol of their unity, their strength, and their ancient wisdom passed down through generations. It was believed amongst the Ligas that the Sacred Flame held the key to Arvedor's prosperity. If it ever extinguished, it would mean the doom to Arvedor, followed by an outbreak of drought, famine, and chaos.
The Sacred Flame was guarded around the clock by four guards called the 'Flamas'. These Flamas were chosen based on their knowledge, valor, and dedication to their tribe. The current Flamas were Thoran - The wise, Leda - The fierce, Volen - The swift, and Ilyan - The skilled. Together, they shielded the flame from the outside world.
One day, a prophecy was foreseen by the tribe's elder, Mago. The Sacred Flame was to be threatened by a great storm, a force so phenomenal that it could put an end to the Flame and disrupt the tranquility of Arvedor.
The entire tribe was sent into a tizzy, but Thoran, Leda, Volen, and Ilyan held a calm disposition, ready to defend their flame, their life. Days turned into nights, the foretold date was fast approaching, the atmosphere was filled with fear and apprehension but the Flamas stood undeterred.
The storm commenced on the prophesied date, a sight unbeknownst to the Ligas. It started to beat down on Arvedor with all its might, the Flamas formed a protective barrier around the Sacred Flame reciting the ancient prayers passed down from their forefathers. Ilyan, the skilled, stood head on against the storm, flaunting his impeccable skills. Volen, the swift, was swift in maintaining the barrier and sabotaging any attacks from the storm. Leda, the fierce, showed her true colours, standing firm against all odds. Thoran, the wise, guided them through, instructing them when to attack, when to retreat.
Hours passed, the storm was still ongoing, the Ligas were fighting relentlessly. Tides began to change with the storm showing signs of diminishment. Slowly, but steadily, it was losing against the might of the Flamas. Enervated, the storm conceded, and just as Mago had prophesied, the storm ended but the flame – that sacred flame – still danced, undeterred, in its full glory.
The Flamas had won! The village resounded with cheers! They saved the flame, their tribe, their whole of Arvedor.
After the storm, Arvedor bloomed more than ever, the crops thrived, the rivers swelled, and happiness drifted in the air. The Sacred Flame, the treasure of the Ligas continued to glow, stronger, and brighter, adding retelling the heroic saga of the four Flamas who defended the flame against the wrath of nature.
The story of the Ligas and their Sacred Flame became a legend in the annals of Arvedor, a story that narrated the courage of a tribe, their unwavering faith, and the resilience to save their homeland. The tale of the guardian Flamas turned into an inspiring folklore, shared across generations, and the sacred flame turned into an emblem of pride, courage and unity for the Ligas.
