The Legend of the Starless Night

Once upon a time in a magical realm of Tansarea, there were two twin brothers named Oveiros and Avimaru. They were the sons of the supreme sorcerer, an omnipotent being known mostly as the Elder. Despite being twins, the brothers were nothing alike. Oveiros was kind, generous, and well-loved by the people of Tansarea, while Avimaru was filled with spite, envy, and grudge, with a dark heart to match.
The twins were equally skilled in the art of sorcery, but their ways of using it were distinctly different. Oveiros used his powers to help the realm prosper, creating bountiful harvests and protecting the people from natural disasters. On the other hand, Avimaru schemed and sought after their father's throne, using his powers to manipulate and terrorize.
One fateful day, Avimaru challenged Oveiros to a duel for the supreme sorcerer's mantle. The confident Oveiros accepted. The stakes were high. The winner would inherit their father's omnipotence, the loser banished into eternal exile.
On the day of the duel, the entire Tansarea watched on in bated breath. With the first strike, the sky was filled with electric energy. Waves of flashing magic collided as the brothers locked in battle, each displaying formidable powers. The tournament seemed evenly matched, pushing the twins heal to heal.
However, in the heat of the battle, Avimaru created a distraction using shadow spawns. Oveiros, who cared deeply for the life of every being, was distracted. Avimaru took advantage of the situation and directed a blow at Oveiros. Oveiros, caught off guard, was struck and fell. In that moment, Avimaru declared himself the winner.
True to the agreement, Oveiros went into exile. Broken-hearted, he left his beloved people under the ruthless rule of his brother unnoticed. Avimaru, now possessing the Elder's powers, ruled Tansarea with an iron fist. His reigns were dark, causing endless suffering to the denizens.
Deep into the wilderness, Oveiros meditated, honing his skills, preparing for the day when he could end Avimaru's tyranny. Meanwhile, Avimaru, indulged in his victory, became complacent. He stopped practicing and his powers began to wane.
One decade later, a stronger, wiser Oveiros returned. He challenged Avimaru once again, a showdown to finish what was left incomplete. This time, Oveiros was the embodiment of controlled fury and righteous vengeance. Avimaru, lacking in practise, wasn't match for his concentrated power.
After an intense battle, Oveiros defeated Avimaru. With the victory, Oveiros became the supreme sorcerer as foreseen by their father. The exiled king granted mercy on his fallen brother and sent him to a distant place to live out his remaining days in peace.
Tansarea was once again a peaceful realm under Oveiros. Using his newfound powers, he filled the land with prosperity and happiness. The damage done by Avimaru was gradually repaired, the scars from the era of darkness became less visible. And so, the realm was restored to its former glory.
Under his reign, Tansarea once again bloomed into a realm of love, light, and unity. The story of Oveiros and Avimaru's battle for power became an age-old legend, always reminding the people of Tansarea of the perils of greed and the virtue of selfless service.
And this, is the legend of the Starless Night, of a kingdom lost and then found; of sibling rivalry, redemption, and the resilience of a just heart against the mightiest of oppressors.
