Being constructed of sea-stones and shaded by sprawling trees, Gavonia was a testament to harmony between nature and civilization.
The Gavonians were a robust seafaring people, known past their borders for their legendary craftsmanship and indomitable spirit. While the entire city thrived on unity and camaraderie, Myrella, a young sorceress possessed a unique charisma. She was born under the rare Twilight Star, foretelling an extraordinary destiny.

A silhouette of an ancient, colossal sea monster, known as Krakenos, emerged from the depths. The horrific beast wrapped its tentacles around the city's ships, pulling them under the water surface.
The intimidating sight of Krakenos ignited fear among the Gavonians. Myrella, however, had faith in her abilities and resolved to quell the chaos. With her staff holding up high, she summoned all her energy. In response to her commanding, the winds roared, and she dotted across the sea surface as though it were solid ground.
Encountering the colossal beast, she wasted no time, summoning a storm of fire; However, the waters surrounding the beast extinguished every flame. Realizing her disadvantage, her brilliant eyes flared brighter. Unyielding, Myrella perceived her surrounding energies, this time channeling the elemental power of the sea itself. In a swift movement, she guided a massive water surge against the beast.
Caught by surprise, Krakenos lost control over its massive tendrils, freeing the entrapped ships. Channelling more force against Krakenos' body, Myrella finally drove it back into the murky depths from whence it came.
Gasps of awe swept through Gavonia as they observed the spectacle unfold from the shore. Once their cheers echoed across the sea, signaling victory, Myrella returned, her energy drained, yet her heart jubilant.
The Gavonians celebrated her bravery. Her victory became a tale sung in every home, echoing throughout Gavonia - The Legend of the Sorceress and the Sea.
