The Legend of Lost Island

Once upon a time, when humans still lived simply under the blue roof of the sky, there was a mesmerizing island named Perdia, located far to the north of our known world. Perdia was known for its ethereal beauty and magical essence. But to the sorrows of mankind, the island became lost, buried deep under the wave of tales.
From grandparents to the young, everyone in the world of our tale listened with wide-eyed amazement about the enchanting beauty of Perdia. It bloomed with radiant flowers that glowed in the night; trees stood tall with verdant leaves that shone bright under sunlight. The fruits were abundant, and the water sparkled crystal clear. Day by day, Perdia flourished and prospered with a magic that was as pure as the first snowfall. The island vibrated with an unwavering courage that folded away any invincible or uncanny forces. Peace was a constant companion of Perdia.
Inhabited by the islanders, who were as youthful as water lilies, the island was a harmonious symphony between mankind and nature. The Islanders were known for their wisdom and feared nothing other than the wrath of nature. They worshiped 'Natura', the goddess of Earth, and strived to live in harmony with her creations.
However, as time progressed, human greed and the yearning for power started to onerously creep. Islanders were protected by the magic of Perdia, but the mainland succumbed to the chaos—the kings and their courtiers grew greedy for Perdia's magic and the bounties it had to offer. Invasion seemed the only choice to quench their unfulfilled lust.
One dreadful day, the mainland finally launched an attack. The invaders' army was a formidable force, their weapons gleaming under the blazing sun. Fear struck into the hearts of islanders, but they knew that their faith in Natura and their love for Perdia would see them through.
While the violent onslaught proceeded, the islanders prayed and their faith echoed throughout Perdia. Suddenly, the ground rumbled, and there was a sense of perfect silence. Then, a surge of energy rushed across the island, and everyone witnessed a miraculous sight. The island started rising into the sky, soaring higher and higher until it was out of reach for the invading army. It then slowly started to fade away into the sky until it was completely invisible.
Perplexed and defeated, the attackers returned to their kingdom while the islanders cheered for their beloved island. But there was a profound silence that took over Perdia after the cheers quieted down. The islanders were safe, but they were cut off from the rest of the world. They lived their days peacefully, but they missed the harmonious symphony they once had with the rest of mankind. Gradually, people outside forgot about Perdia as it became nothing more than a tale to tell.
The world moved on, the kings were replaced, the mainland grew, and so did its tales. But amidst these tales, Perdia became the 'Lost Island'. The story of Perdia got etched into the history of mankind as a legend- 'The Legend of Lost Island'.
Today, on the clearest of days, when the sun shines the brightest, a keen eye looking up at the sky can catch a glimpse of a rainbow-shaped aura where Perdia once stood. That glimmer is a reminder to all, a testament to the existence of Perdia, its people, their wisdom, and nature's magic.
So remember, nature is powerful. She alone knows how to conceal and reveal her secrets. As much as she is calm, she is fierce. As much as she is beautiful, she is dangerous. As we journey through our lives, let's strive to live harmoniously with her. After all, we're nothing but tiny fragments of her vast creations.
