In a forgotten corner of the Milky Way, an insignificant star was chosen by an advanced civilization to play a crucial role. It was transformed into a cosmic lighthouse, whose seemingly whimsical light sequence held encrypted data about the creators. Dr. Adrian Hale, leading astrophysicist on Earth, noticed the irregular light pattern of this distant star through the newly established observatory on Mars. Fascinated with the inexplicable light pattern, he made it his mission to decipher the cosmic semaphore.
Enlisting the help of Clara Song, an exobiologist, and Oliver Marks, a mathematician, they set about their discursive endeavour.
