The Last Wizard of Mortigan

Once upon a time, in the enigmatic regency of Mortigan, where reality intersected with magic, there lived the last and the most potent sorcerer, Galadriel. He was not of mortal birth; rather, he originated from Maelor, a mystical world where all the beings possessed magical prowess. Amongst them, Galadriel was known to have exceptional command over his craft.
Galadriel had an appearance just like any other mortal of Mortigan; his distinct bright indigo eyes gave him a mystical allure. His aura was powerful enough to attract any creature or mesmerize any human, but he chose to live amidst wilderness like a hermit, steering clear from the chaos of mankind. Galadriel's abode was located deep within the emerald expanses of the primeval Parthorn Forest.
There was an undisclosed treasure lying in the vicinity of the Parthorn forest, known only to the wizards of Maelor. For ages, any unwelcome incursion was guarded by a fierce dragon named Zephyrion, a creature of vast size with scales of the color of darkest night. His fierce red eyes could engulf the mightiest with inherent fear. Zephyrion was more than a guardian; he was an old associate of magic, somewhat a kinsman to Galadriel.
One dreary day, Galadriel discovered an unfamiliar energy emanating from the heart of the forest, possibly triggering from the whereabouts of the guarded treasure. He hurriedly convened with Zephyrion, who seemed stressed. A group of Mortigan-men had invaded the land, equipped with a charm that concealed them from Zephyrion's penetrating gaze, intending to seize the treasure.
Unwilling to wage a war, Galadriel decided to handle it tactfully. Transforming into an old, feeble mortal man, he approached the area where the men had set their temporary dwelling. He appeared before them as an ordinary Mortigan native, betrayed by his intimidating eyes that were hidden under his heavy brow. Without revealing his identity or the existence of the hidden treasure, he heedfully manipulated their intent, narrating tales of a cursed land that breeds ill fortune for any mortal who dared to intrude.
However, the Mortigan-men outsmarted Galadriel, for they were led by Keegan, a cunning and ambitious character who had been trailing Galadriel for years. Keegan, aware of the treasure and the old wizard's identity, had been employing a feigned charm of concealment. He had set his heart on acquiring the treasure and harnessing its power. A confrontation seemed inevitable.
Upon realizing Keegan's knowledge, Galadriel decided to use his full strength. Despite his inclination towards avoiding conflicts, he knew the potential catastrophe that the treasure could bring if fallen into the wrong hands. The night prior to the planned attack, Galadriel met Zephyrion. He brought along a bundle of stardust, a magical substance from Maelor, which could imbue an entity with unarguable might. Galadriel enveloped Zephyrion in a shroud of celestial stardust, making the beast even formidable.
The following dawn witnessed a fierce encounter. Galadriel, with his amplified magic, stood resolute against the mortal intruders. He channeled his power through the ancient incantations of Maelor, creating an invisible protective shield around the treasure's location. Simultaneously, Zephyrion swooped down on the invaders like an impending storm. Despite their best attempts, Keegan and his men could not penetrate the formidable resistance.
The battle raged for hours with no side willing to concede. Yet, magic eventually triumphed over mortal might. The remnants of Keegan's army fled, leaving him alone to face his fate. Keegan, however, remained undeterred and charged at Galadriel, hoping to seize victory at the last moment. But Galadriel, ever so powerful, captured and restrained him using his magic. The final act of this thrilling confrontation was the banishment of Keegan from Mortigan into an inter-dimensional void, ensuring the safeness of the land.
Triumphed, Galadriel and Zephyrion celebrated their victory, and peace was preserved in Mortigan. However, Galadriel realized that his land is no longer anonymous to the outsiders. Other people with malicious intentions could invade again. So, he decided to take the treasure to Maelor, ensuring its safety and Mortigan's serenity.
After transferring the treasure, Galadriel returned to Mortigan, saving his home world from potential ruin. He spent the remaining years of his life in tranquility, garnering respect not only from the creatures of Parthorn forest but also from the Mortigans who learned about him – the Last Wizard of Mortigan, a legend forever etched in the annals of time.
