It all began in the year 3076, when the Galactic council tasked the Starlight's crew with the exploration of a newly discovered galaxy - the Velarius. Manned by Captain Cael and his loyal crew of 12, the Starlight was outfitted for an unusually long voyage. The journey was to last a span of five years. After arduous six days of relentless struggle, Luna miraculously revived the systems, restoring functionality. The crew discharged a sigh of relief, but their burgeoning joy was snuffed out when Luna could not make it back. Her sacrifices had cost her life but handed her comrades a fighting chance to escape the nebula's clutches and reach Galactic territory once again.
Six months later, the Starlight finally emerged from the nebula, battered but unbroken. They jetted across the cosmos and towards their home. Upon their arrival, the tragic tale of the lost mare Luna and the crew's audacious survival stirred admiration and sadness among the Galactic council. Captain Cael and his crew were hailed as heroes.
