The Last Tree on Planet OrilSev

On a distant planet named OrilSev located in the heart of the Moriphel Galaxy, there was a unique, ancient tree standing alone in the center of the vast, lifeless landscape. Known as the 'Tree of Life', it was the last of its kind.
Once upon a time, OrilSev was a vibrant planet, home to millions of species cohabiting in the lush landscapes among breathtaking waterfalls and towering mountains. But now, it was left barren, a grim reflection of its past glory. All that was left was the Tree of Life.
Zorkon, an elderly Olifent, was the caretaker of the Tree. Olifents were the superior species of OrilSev, resembling a humanoid figure with intricate golden scales, tall physique, and perceptive violet eyes. Zorkon had a heart as golden as his scales. His duty was to sustain the last beacon of hope in their dying world.
The Tree of Life was a time capsule filled with life essentials - air, water, seeds of extinct vegetation, and preserved eggs of vanished creatures. Its dying, nonetheless, would accelerate the extinction of OrilSev’s remaining inhabitants, and Zorkon was well aware of this.
Once a lunar cycle, Zorkon painstakingly carried his frail structure to the Tree. He nourished it with the therapeutic water from Elizoria, the celestial source. This singular act ensured the survival of the tree and indirectly, his species.
One lunar cycle, under the gaze of five setting suns, Zorkon, fighting weakness, journeyed to the Tree. Unfortunately, he didn't make it on time. His frail body gave up, and he gasped for breath on the bare soil of OrilSev.
The Tree of Life started wilting, its radiant glow dimming, leaves shriveling, and roots weakening. As the life force began to fade, OrilSev's end seemed inevitable.
At the brink of hopelessness, a fascinating thing occurred. Out of a seemingly dead root of the tree sprung a tiny sapling. Pushing through the grave-like soil, it let out a soft glow that grew brighter with each passing moment. A divine miracle, or perhaps, it was Zorkon's pure, undying spirit.
Despite his fading life, a spark lit up in Zorkon’s eyes. He lifted his trembling hand, touching the young sapling. Waves of inexplicable energy radiated through his scales right into his core, rejuvenating him momentarily.
With renewed strength, Zorkon stood up and held the sapling close. A series of Olifentian verses escaped his lips, sounding like an orchestration of the cosmic winds. His plea to the universe was to rescue his beloved planet, to nourish the new symbol of hope- the sapling.
Unseen by mortal eyes, celestial energies gathered and rained down on OrilSev. The pale landscape shook, once barren soil opened, revealing hidden seeds. To the amazement of Zorkon, fissures spouted forth celestial water from Elizoria.
One by one, the seeds began to sprout, small creatures hatched from the preserved eggs that had laid dormant. An orchestra of life resonated through the once silent planet. The sapling, absorbing the renewed energy, matured instantly into a colossal Tree, nurturing life yet again.
Days passed, and life spiraled into existence. At the heart of this evolution, stood Zorkon, witnessing his last wish come true, his sacrifice not being in vain. His spirit finally found peace, leaving behind his mortal coil.
The Last Tree had become the First Tree of a new age in OrilSev, heralding rebirth and hope, while Zorkon, the last Olifent, was forever immortalized in its roots and tales.
His name whispered by the winds, sung by the rivers, and narrated by mothers to their young ones. His legacy, an evergreen tale of selflessness, resonated throughout the beautiful, vibrant landscape of OrilSev. Thus, Zorkon and OrilSev lived in more than mere memory - they lived in life itself.
