The Last Symphony of the Stone Teller

Once upon a time, in a world vastly different from ours, there existed a realm known as Rohandra. Its uniqueness was derived from its curious inhabitants—the stone tellers. They were astral beings, possessing the ability to communicate with the universe's very essence, reverberating tales etched in the ancient stones around them. Angao was one of the youngest, yet most talented among them; his extraordinary gifts made him much adored and respected by his kin.
One day, Angao found a stone of cosmic rarity—a rapidly pulsating emerald gemstone, with traces of story yet unclaimed. Convinced this was his calling, the young stone teller embarked on a journey to unveil the stone's hidden story. Together with his snowy owl companion, Oolin, he set out for the mountainous region of Kraghoorn, rumored to be the birthplace of the stone.
The harsh frigid winds and treacherous terrains did little to discourage the pair. They encountered several challenges on their path, including encounters with the Kragh beasts and the freezing nights sleeping in arduous caverns, but they persevered. Angao's steadfast dedication, along with Oolin’s guiding eyes, led them through. Their struggle continued for months, but time felt insignificant in their grand quest.
Finally, atop the highest peak of Kraghoorn, ornamented with thousands of stones shimmering under the twilight sky, Angao held the stone aloft. A green beam of energy protruded from it, merging with the light from the galaxy. Then, the stone revealed to him its promised story. It was a tale of the universe's birth, a melodious symphony of creation spun from chaos, a lullaby sung by the stars to cradle their celestial children—the planets.
The story radiated warmth, wisdom, and a melancholic yearning for tranquility lost to time. It spoke of galaxies spun from cosmic dust, star clusters born out of primordial light, and planets molded by divine hands. The stone sang this story to Angao, pouring streams of silver-blue light, painting his soul with the dazzling colors of cosmic creation.
Moved by the profound tale, Angao decided to share this knowledge with his people. However, as he began his descent, a terrible pain seized him. The raw power of the story had taken its toll. He had been warned—the stories of ancient stones were potent. Only the strongest of stone tellers could survive their intense energy.
With every step, his life force seemed to wane; his ethereal form flickered. Yet, his determination did not falter. Just as the first rays of dawn greeted him, Angao returned to his folks, his body weak, his spirit undeterred.
In his final moments, Angao radiated with the stone's energy, each word of the ancient tale resonating with the harmonic sound of creation. He narrated the symphony of the universe to his kin—a grand performance unlike any they'd heard before. With the final note, Angao’s form disintegrated into a shower of celestial light, leaving behind a chilling silence. His body was no more, but the echo of his last tale immortalized him. He was remembered as the 'Last Stone Teller,' the revealer of the universe’s grand symphony.
While Angao's physical existence came to an end, his tale continues to inspire, reminding the stone tellers of Rohandra of their purpose—to uncover, preserve, and relay the universe's stories, thereby becoming immortal fragments of cosmic history. Angao's legacy, therefore, lived on for eternity. His final symphony served as a testament to his courage, curiosity, and, above all, his unyielding love for stories.
