The Last Sorceress of Eldoria

In a kingdom far from ours, known as Eldoria, magic was as common as sunlight. Every individual had a touch of magic, from the smallest elf to the mightiest dragon. But in the heart of the kingdom amidst the perfect patchwork of farms and meadows, there was a quaint little village known as Myria, home to the last sorceress, Mirabella. The wise and aged Mirabella lived alone in her rustic house, brewing potions and foreseeing the future. With each sun set, she would cast helpful spells to ensure bountiful harvests, happiness, and safety for her fellow villagers.
One day, the Eldoria King, a willful and arrogant brute falling under the perpetual guidance of his malicious advisor, banned magic across the kingdom. His power hunger was taking away the essence of Eldoria. Heartbroken but determined, the villagers of Myria refused to abandon their ways, and Mirabella continued to cast her spells under the secrecy of the night.
Then came the black days, when the king's soldiers marched onto Myria. They razed every house until they came to Mirabella's, which was shielded by a powerful barrier spell. Bursting with fury, the king ordered her to be captured and declared to burn her at stake. As the soldiers forcefully pulled Mirabella away, she gazed upon her beloved village, her heart swelling with pain but eyes reflecting unfaltering determination.
Captured but still powerful, Mirabella was imprisoned in the castle's darkest dungeon but kept her spirits high. She wasn't going to accept defeat easily. In the shadows of her damp prison, she started weaving a complicated plan. The grand day turned into an eventful night under the bewitched sky forming an extraordinary spectacle. The entirety of Eldoria, including the panicky king, gathered in the town square, ready to witness the tragic end of magic in their kingdom.
As Mirabella was led to the stake, her heart pounded in her chest, but she gave an assuring smile to her villagers. The king, keeping up his arrogant demeanor, snatched her staff and broke it in two. Undeterred, Mirabella closed her eyes and began to whisper old spells, her shackles clinking in rhythm. The crowd gasped as she began to levitate in her bound state. The people, unable to believe their eyes, watched as Mirabella disintegrated into a myriad of glowing particles, escaping the seemingly sealed fate.
In rage and disbelief, the king ordered his soldiers to find her, but it was too late. The glow from the sorceress illuminated Eldoria, sweeping through every house, field, and forest it passed. Then something magical happened. Everywhere the light touched, traces of old magic resurrected. The dragons soared higher, the elves' eyes glowed brighter and Myria, against all odds, remained unharmed.
The king, left powerless, stared in disbelief as the magic flowed through the hearts of Eldorians once again. Amidst the magic this rare spectacle brought, the villagers noticed that Mirabella didn't reappear. Her sacrifice had returned magic to its rightful owners. Every year after that, on the day of the great spectacle, the villagers celebrated the 'Day of Mirabella', honoring the brave sorceress who had sacrificed herself for them, reminding everyone of their magical origin and rekindling their magical spirits.
