The Last Memory of Eternity

In the ancient kingdom of Zolithea, nestled beneath the imposing peaks of The Eternal Mountains, resided an ethereal forge unlike any other. The Eternal Forge, as it was known, held unparalleled power and secrets shrouded by the fabric of time itself.
Beginnings of the Eternal Forge reach deep into the antiquity of times when Zolithea was just a budding civilization. An era where myths had yet to become legends, and legends were the precious lifelines of a world steeped in enchantments. The Eternal Forge was a place of awe-inspiring power, said to have been bestowed by the gods to transform mundane matter into items of compelling might and beauty.
The forge was guarded by the tiller, Aldrien, a man of uncanny wisdom and striking humility. Passed on from his forefathers, he had accepted the duty to continue the legacy of safeguarding the treasure of Zolithea. Aldrien's sole purpose and existence were entwined with this Forge. He harbored boundless love for The Eternal Mountains and their secret. The villagers regarded Aldrien almost as a mystic who could bend the spirit of the mountains and wield magic with his hands.
Under his skilled hands, even raw and unappealing rocks would morph into fascinating works of art, each telling a story that resonated with a soulful symphony. But the masterpiece that best encapsulated Aldrien's power and prowess was The Orb of Milennia. It was an object of extraordinary brilliance, a spherical crystal radiating a myriad of colors that spanned the spectrum of the universe.
Years rolled by, and the tales of The Eternal Forge and The Orb lived on. They descended through multiple generations, evolving into grand narratives of magic and mystery. Approaching his twilight, Aldrien found himself trapped in a dilemma - with no offspring of his own, whom would he entrust the sacred forge?
In the valley’s deepest solitude, Aldrien prayed for an answer. As the ethereal lights of the forge shimmered across the icy mountains, he was visited by a divine entity. The celestial being promised Aldrien the arrival of a desolately abandoned boy who bore an intuitive affinity with the Eternal Mountains, fated to continue Aldrien's legacy.
Few winters later, in the blossom of the season, a boy named Eiren was found at the brink of the majestic mountains, half-frozen and mysteriously abandoned. The villagers nurtured him back to health, and as if foretold by prophecy, Aldrien found Eiren inextricably attracted to the Eternal Forge.
Under Aldrien's patient tutelage, Eiren began to learn the craft, developing respect and love for the mountains and their secrets. Embedded in the boy was a will of steel which gave him the strength to persist and wield the legacy of the Eternal Forge, even as Aldrien passed on from the world of the living.
Eiren discovered an ancient inscription in the forge, hidden through centuries. It revealed that the true power of the Orb transferred to its holder only once every millennium, revealing memories and wisdom gathered over the eons. It was then he realized the magnitude of the burden he carried.
As the millennium dawned, magic sparked, and the Orb unveiled a reservoir of knowledge in Eiren's mind. It presented him with a panorama of experiences spanning across centuries, an unbroken lineage of memories, wisdom, and magic, the amassing of arcane knowledge of time itself, transforming him into a sage of The Eternal Forge.
The Plateau of Zolithea, the Eternal Forge, and the Orb, now existed under a league of their own, guarded and governed by the lone figure of Eiren. He became the vessel of wisdom, a binding thread between the past and the future, holding the last memory of eternity.
