The Last Keeper of Rainbows

Once upon a time, in the magical realm of Aelis, where the divine spirits and mortal beings harmoniously coexisted, lived an ancient being known as Eiros. He was the last of the ethereal beings known as the Rainbow Keepers. Their duty was to maintain the balance of colors in the world and create rainbows that linked our world with the transcendent realm.
Eiros lived in a charming little cottage by a shimmering lake with azure waters, nested at the foot of the Great Crystal Mountain. The entire landscape glistened from the splendid spectra of colors emitted by the Crystal Mountain, the source of all colors on Aelis. Every morning, Eiros would wake up at the crack of dawn and tirelessly set out dispersing colors across the land.
One day, Eiros awoke to find the world dull and desolate. The vibrant colors had started fading, and the rainbows were losing their glow. The scared townsfolk of Aelis watched in despair as their world turned gloomy, and a sense of doom enveloped the kingdom.
Eiros rushed to the Crystal Mountain and found the Color Crystal at its core had dimmed dramatically, causing the fading colors. He remembered an ancient prophecy foretelling this very calamity and it said, 'When the world fades to grey, the Rainbow Keeper will embark on a journey, through perils and chaos, to the edges of reality and renew the Color Crystal with colors unknown.'
Understanding what needed to be done, Eiros embarked on his journey to the edges of Aelis. He ventured into the unknown, braving haunting forests echoing with ghostly whispers, crossing precarious paths on the lofty mountains whilst eluding the deadly creatures lurking in the shadows.
During one of his encounters, he saved a young, brilliant phoenix named Pyra, from a pack of shadow-serpents. Grateful, Pyra promised to aid Eiros on his dangerous quest. Gifted with the ability to create fire, Pyra's flames could turn into any color the phoenix fancied.
Eiros and Pyra trekked the realms unknown, forging a trail of color in the bleakness left behind them. Their journey brought them to the very brink of Aelis, where the realm of mortals met the divine. Here, they faced their final test, against the mighty dragon Azure. The battle was fierce and tiresome, but with a combined effort, they managed to subdue Azure. In a final act of goodwill, Azure surrendered a part of his own essence, an ethereal bluish hue.
Eiros gratefully accepted the gift and thanked Azure for his contribution. With colors from Pyra's flames and Azure’s essence, Eiros and his companions returned to the Crystal Mountain. They infused these unique colors into the Color Crystal, reinvigorating it. A surge of light exploded from the mountain, and in no time, splendid colors returned to Aelis.
The radiance of the colors was more spectacular than ever before, and the rainbows shone brighter, binding the realms even stronger. Eiros's bravery and dedication had saved Aelis, ensuring the colors never dulled. The world declared Eiros as a hero, but he merely smiled, knowing he had fulfilled his duty as the Rainbow Keeper.
And so, until this day, Eiros, with help from Pyra and Azure, continues to spread colors across Aelis, painting the skies with magnificent rainbows, creating a sight that mesmerizes every mortal and divine being, a sight that breathes life into the ordinary and paints a spectacular canvas called life.
