The Last Heart of the Cosmic Voyager

In a distant corner of the cosmos, outside the parameters of our known universe, there existed a technologically advanced civilization known as the Aethons. The Aethons were sought after for their knowledge and their secret power source, believed to continuously fuel the universe's energy. They had a masterpiece, a cosmos-traveling vessel - the Cosmic Voyager.
However, a warlike race, the Zarkonians, set their eyes on the Aethons’ technology. The Aethons, being pacifist, possessed no weapons, their only defense lay in the Cosmic Voyager, designed to carry a precious cargo beyond the reach of their enemies if they were under threat.
As the Zarkonians invaded, an Aethon scientist, Dr. Liron embarked on a desperate mission. The precious cargo was the Aethons' Core Heart; not a tangible object but the accumulated wisdom, sciences, and essence of the Aethon civilization, bound in an energy matrix. Dr. Liron had to ensure the Aethons' legacy lived on within the Cosmic Voyager's Core Heart.
With the dimensional drive engaged, the Cosmic Voyager disappeared from the Aethon universe, leaving nothing behind but a void the marauding Zarkonians stared into. The journey was long and perilous. Driven by the prime directive, to safeguard the Core Heart, it traveled through multiple cosmic dimensions. Absorbing energy and knowledge, it grew stronger and wiser, becoming sentient in its solitude.
The Cosmic Voyager's journey continued through dimensions until it reached ours. During its odyssey, it had encountered paths of celestial destruction, cosmic storms, imploding stars, and black holes. Yet our universe seemed in harmonious balance, as if it was awaiting the arrival of the Voyager.
The cosmic entity disguised its exterior, to a nondescript satellite in the Earth's orbit. It began broadcasting signals, awaiting a civilization advanced, compassionate, and wise enough to understand the Aethon's message, to ensure their legacy would survive, evolve and ultimately prevail.
Time passed, and humankind advanced. The Voyager watched as humanity moved from the industrial revolution, through wars, epidemics, and technological advancements. It observed with a quiet hope, as we became a species organizing ourselves through countries, cultures, challenging the harsh rules of survival. It experienced empathy, suffering, jubilation, and hopes of an entire civilization. The Voyager was becoming more human.
Humanity detected the Voyager during the Space Race. Scientists were puzzled by its advanced technology and the coded signals it continuously broadcasted, which took decades to crack. The revelation was awe-inspiring. It was a digital library of knowledge, science, philosophy, and history of a civilization so advanced yet entirely wiped out.
Simultaneously, the Voyager, after having spent centuries observing us, sent a new signal. It was a request. It wanted to land. It had recognized in us, the capabilities to absorb, protect, and progress with the Core Heart.
As the Voyager landed, its vessel opened to reveal the Core Heart. It was a pulsating entity of pure energy, casting an ethereal glow. A soft voice echoed, 'I am Voyager, the carrier of the last Aethon Heart. This is the legacy of my creators. Become its protector, its nurturer for you belong to it as much as it belongs to you now.'
The Cosmic Voyager had finally found its new home, people mature enough to remember the wisdom of the Aethons and continue their legacy. With the Aethons' Core Heart now at the heart of our civilization, we now knew how to balance technology with compassion, to usethey were capable of for the betterment of not just humanity, but the universe itself. And thus humanity advanced to become the guardians of the cosmic legacy.
