The Keeper of Dreams: Tale of Samuel the Dreamer
Once upon a time, in a faraway land called Ornaldo, people entertained a certain belief. They believed in 'The Keeper of Dreams' - a mythical figure who could harness the power to translate dreams into reality.
In Ornaldo, there was a small, quaint village named Mordale. This village was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, surrounded by dense forests and clear lakes. The villagers were peace-loving folk, with a simple life led by agriculture and craftsmanship.
In this village, lived an ordinary boy, Samuel, except his dreams were extraordinary. Samuel was a dreamer who revelled in the world of his dreams, and found inspiration everywhere. He dreamt of unimaginable things - a land where horses could fly, waterfalls flowed upwards and stars could be captured in jars.
Samuel would wake up each morning and sketch on his scrapbook with immense fervour, not letting a single dreamy detail slip away. One day, he found about the mythical Keeper of Dreams in one of the village gatherings, and it felt as if he'd found a way to unveil his dreamy visions to the world.
The encounter fuelled a new dream in Samuel's heart - to find this mythical Keeper. He began his journey with nothing but hope, a pouch of food, his sketchbook and the village elder's words echoing, 'You'll find what you seek when you listen to your heart.'
Samuel traveled far and wide across dense forests, towering mountains, sandy deserts, and treacherous rivers. Many times, he felt like giving up, especially during long, weary nights. But, whenever he felt low, he clutched his sketchbook and recollected his dreams, rekindling his hopes again.
Finally, after months of seeking, Samuel reached a mystical wall of fog in the Enchar Forest. He heard whispers of his dreams as he stepped through it. Seeing a hooded figure in front of a shimmering lake, he knew he had arrived. The figure stood tall, stirring the surface of the lake with a golden scepter.
'Are you the Keeper of Dreams?' Samuel asked with a trembling voice. 'I am,' the figure responded in a voice as soft as a harp's melody. Samuel handed him his dream-filled sketchbook.
The Keeper gently touched the sketchbook, and every page started turning on its own. The scenes from Samuel's dreams started to leap off the pages, turning into fine mist, which the Keeper swirled into the lake with his scepter.
A light show ensued on the surface of the lake, reflecting Samuel's dreams – the flying horses, the waterfalls flowing upwards, and stars in jars. The Keeper smiled and said, 'Such remarkable dreams, Samuel. Go back to your people, and they shall manifest into reality.'
When Samuel returned to Mordale, the village was transformed. Cheerful villagers rode on flying horses tending to floating crops, rainbow-colored waterfalls cascaded upwards to the sky, filling the night with millions of jarred stars. Mordale had become Samuel's dream-come-true, acknowledging everyone's unique dreams and filling their heart with joy.
Till today, people of Mordale remember Samuel as the boy who dared to dream and brought those dreams to life. His sketchbook is preserved as a symbol of imagination and reality's blend, inspiring every young and old to dream.
The story of 'The Keeper of Dreams’ carries on. People in far-off lands hear of Mordale and Samuel, and they too set out, clutching onto their dreams, seeking the Keeper, and hoping to make their calling a reality.
