The Journey of the Lost City

Once upon a time, in an age unmarked by the scrolls of history, nestled in the heart of the Grand Orion Forest there lay a city untouched by time - the marvelous city of Celestia.
With grandiose towers made of Emerald and streets paved in Sapphire, Celestia was the city of eternal beauty and harmony. Trees that bore fruits of radiant colours, and rivers that sung lullabies, the city was a spectacle to behold. An undying lantern of wisdom, the city was inhabited by peaceful Celestians, creatures with divine edges and minds full of knowledge. Celestians were guardians of the elusive 'Eternal Flame', a mystical flame which was said to be a source of infinite wisdom and celestial power.
One fine day, the city was visited by an enigmatic stranger, Nox. Cloaked in a garb of darkness, with eyes bearing the burden of a thousand wars, Nox was a well-traveled wanderer from the distant land of Terra Desolata. Intrigued by the splendour of the city and the aura of the Celestians, he asked about the glow that illuminated their city day and night. The Celestians shared their secret of the Eternal Flame. However, they had one condition - anyone who learns about the flame must vow not to misuse its power.
Nox, captivated by the thought of unlimited power, promised to honour their condition. But his intentions were marred by greed and deception. Begrudging the harmony of Celestia, he plotted to seize the Eternal Flame and use it to conquer his war-infested homeland.
Under a black moon, Nox used his cunning and craftily stole the Eternal Flame. The city trembled as the light dimmed, stars withdrew, and a sudden cold swept over Celestia. Nox fled with the flame, leaving the once vibrant city in darkness and despair.
A brave heart Celestian, Orion, stepped forward and pledged to retrieve the flame and restore Celestia to its former glory. Armed with courage and guided by the dying light of the Eternal Flame, Orion embarked on a perilous journey to Terra Desolata.
His was a journey of trials and might; a voyage through tumultuous waters, treacherous mountain ranges, and ravenous beasts. However, Orion soldiered on, his spirit steeled by the misfortune that had befallen his city. He befriended creatures of dark and light, learnt languages of the wind and water, discovered his own latent celestial abilities, and slowly but unwaveringly, reached Terra Desolata.
On reaching Terra Desolata, gasps of horror escaped Orion’s lips. The land was in ruins, suffocated under a heavy blanket of death and destruction. But amid all the chaos, fueled by the Eternal Flame, Nox ruled with an iron fist.
Gathering his courage and wisdom, Orion challenged Nox to a duel of destiny. Nox, arrogant with power, agreed, believing that he could easily defeat Orion. The duel was an epic show of skill and valour. In the end, Orion’s unwavering spirit and newfound powers outmatched Nox, and he recovered the Eternal Flame.
On his return to Celestia, the city lights slowly awakened after a long slumber. The trees swayed in joy, the rivers started singing again, marking the victory of good over evil. Orion, hailed as a hero, proved that harmony can never be defeated by chaos.
As the tale of the Eternal Flame unraveled, Celestia continued to gleam with relentless vigour and charismatic enchantment. But the Celestians learnt an invaluable lesson - never to share their secret with untrusted souls. Even now, they say, on a dark, quiet night, one can see the Eternal Flame glow brighter as if a silent reminder of Orion's victory, a nod to his bravery and the promise of Celestia’s undying luminescence.
