The Guardian of the Sapphire Sea

Once upon a time, on the capricious terrains of Ostao, there was a humble coastal village named Recifede. The villagers were fishermen who prided themselves on their knowledge of the Sapphire Sea, which got its name from the mesmerizing azure color of its waters. Their simple life was bound to the ebb and flow of the mighty tides, and they worshipped the sea as a god. Yet, an ancient legend loomed over their peace, a tale about the fierce 'Guardian of the Sapphire Sea'.
The Guardian, according to the legends, was a colossal creature said to be the true king of the Sapphire Sea. It was a protective spirit and a symbol of the village's ancestral heritage, yet it was feared, too, for those who incurred its wrath could bring doom to the whole village.
Life was ordinary for the villagers until one stormy night when a stranger arrived. He was an ambitious man named Argus, adorned in lavish clothes and extravagant jewelry, radiating wealth and power. His quest was clear; he was searching for the legendary 'Orb of Lumos', rumored to be guarded by the Guardian of the Sapphire Sea.
Drawn by the prospects of wealth, Argus offered riches to any villager would guide him to the Guardian. But the villagers, with their strong belief in the legend, refused. No fortune was worth angering the Guardian. But then came Erik, a young fisherman frustrated by his life's monotony. Seduced by the thought of a better life, Erik agreed to aid Argus.
A voyage was embarked on the waves of the Sapphire Sea. Along with Argus, Erik ventured into the heart of the sea, maneuvering through the roaring currents and tempestuous tides. Days turned into nights, and nights into days, yet the Guardian was nowhere to be found.
Then one day, a towering storm hit their ship. Waves like the sea god's mighty hands smashed against their ship as if trying to pull it into the sea's abyss. Amid the chaos, a gigantic, awe-inspiring creature emerged. Its eyes, as blue as the Sapphire Sea,, conveyed a terrifying intelligence. It was the Guardian.
Argus, blinded by greed, ordered the crew to advance, desperate to attain the Orb of Lumos. Erik, witnessing the majestic presence of the Guardian, felt a twinge of guilt. He realized his reckless disobedience towards the sea's ancient commandments.
Pushed by a newfound bravery, Erik leapt into the wild waters, swimming towards the Guardian. With a plea in his heart and sincerity in his eyes, he asked for forgiveness. The Guardian, registering Erik's plea, let out an earsplitting roar, bringing a halt to the monstrous waves.
Erik returned to the ship, but this time to confront Argus. He declared his refusal to disobey the sea's laws any further. Argus, filled with rage, unsheathed his sword against Erik, but before he could advance, something struck the ship. The Guardian, in one final attempt to defend the orb and protect its sea, lunged at Argus, taking him down into the cold depths of the Sapphire Sea.
From that day forward, the villagers of Recifede praised Erik not only as a fisherman but as a hero who saved their village from impending doom. And the Guardian, the true king of the Sapphire Sea, remained an undisturbed legend, a tale of respect towards nature, passed down the generations.
