The Guardian of The Parallel Worlds
There was once a world parallel to ours, unseen and unheard, where humanity was endowed with magical abilities. The story revolves around Erisan, a young girl unaware of her magical lineage until her eighteenth birthday when a much-anticipated revelation engulfed her life.
On her eighteenth birthday, Erisan's parents informed her that she was not a normal human but belonged to a race, the 'Veritilians', the guardians of the parallel worlds. This race had the powers to control the elements of nature, and it was her destiny to protect their realm and ours from the impending doom, coming from another malicious parallel universe, Hirebs.
Up until then, she was a regular college student. Her life changed overnight, from learning academics to grappling with her magically existent identity. Fearing the huge responsibility, Erisan initially refused to accept her role. But soon, her inner strength rose, and she decided to embrace her fate with courage. Mason, her best friend, unaware of her new identity, noticed the sudden change in her behavior, but he decided to support her no matter what.
Erisan's magical training began in earnest, under the guidance of her parents. She learned to control fire, water, wind, and earth. Erisan learned quickly and was soon ready for the first mission - entering the Parallel Realm. This realm was the gateway connecting the multiple parallel worlds. So, every Guardian was required to master traversing it under careful supervision.
She felt a sudden rush of excitement and anxiety as she took her first step into the Parallel Realm. The realm was a shimmering, labyrinthine dimension where time and space seemed to bend at will. With Mason for company, she traveled through the interspersed realities, witnessing the coexistence of the different worlds.
Erisan's primary task was to prevent the Hirebs from invading other universes by securing the realm gateways. However, the Hirebs, being smart and deceitful, had managed to find loopholes. The invasion had started, and beings from Hirebs were already seeping into the human world, causing havoc.
Erisan rose to the occasion, fighting the Hirebs with all her might. But in one such battle, she was struck by a bolt of dark magic, which drained her of her strengths. Unconscious and weak, Erisan found herself in a much distorted, darker world. It was the Hirebs' home.
She woke up in an unfamiliar, threatening world, with no allies or weapons. Her powers were numbed, and she felt lost. Remembering Mason, she called out for him but soon realized he was nowhere close. Erisan used her limited strength to escape her captors, wandering through the Hirebs' world, searching for a way back.
Her biggest surprise was meeting Kian, a former Veritilian, thought dead, living among the Hirebs. He told Erisan the backstory of the feud between the Veritilians and Hirebs, giving her a perspective she never knew. She learned that gaining power was Hirebs' obsession, but they weren't inherently evil.
Paired with Kian, she devised a strategy to make peace and restore harmony. With much persuasion and diplomatic negotiations, she convinced the Hirebs to coexist with the Veritilians and humans, avoiding a catastrophic disaster. She returned triumphant, having protected her world and promoting peace between the Veritilians and Hirebs.
The joyous celebration awaited her. But Erisan had evolved; she was more than a Guardian. She was a peacemaker. Mason confessed his feelings, and Erisan realized she had the same for him. In peace, love, and friendship, she had met her destiny, and she had achieved what no guardian before her could - Unity among parallel worlds.
Her story is a reminder that duty, courage, and tolerance can lead to peace. The Veritilians, humans, Hirebs, and all parallel universe beings remember Erisan, the Guardian, as a symbol of peace and the one who saved them from total destruction.
