The Galaxy Watcher

In a small town named Somerville, nestled within the luscious green landscapes of Staten Island, lived a boy named Theo. Pure of heart, Theo was different from other children; while most children played outdoors, Theo was enthralled by the infinite cosmos above. He was a galaxy watcher.
On his tenth birthday, Theo received an atmospheric telescope, a gift from his astronomer grandfather. This gift became his treasure, and he spent countless nights observing the incalculable glory of the universe. In his heart, he harbored a wish- if humankind was so small compared to these celestial bodies, then couldn't there be even more life beyond what his eyes could see?
One day, he saw a flashing blue light through his telescope, originating from the farthest corner of the cosmos. He kept it to himself, thinking nobody would believe a ten-year-old boy. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months; the light kept flashing at fixed intervals, like a Morse Code from extraterrestrial entities ETEs. Soon, Theo decoded the flashing lights, and to his astonishment, it was a call for help.
Determined to reply, Theo orchestrated a plan. It was known that radio signals could travel through the cosmos. He gathered parts and built a radio transmitter, strong enough to send signals to the farthest corners of the cosmos. Night after night, he transmitted a simple message, 'We are here, and we can help.'
Meanwhile, the inhabitants of the unknown celestial body, whom Theo had named ‘Galaxians,’ were losing hope. Their planet was being sucked into a black hole, and their calls for help, they thought, was getting lost in the vastness of the universe.
Each day brought Somerville closer to an iconic event that would change its faith, and the boy, the Galaxy Watcher, was yet unaware of it.
One fateful night, the unimaginable happened- a spaceship appeared in the sky of Somerville, the sight of which terrified the townsfolk. Theo, however, was elated; his message had been received.
The Galaxians hailed Theo as their savior. They explained their desperate situation and pleaded for refuge on Earth. The little boy looked at the alien faces frightened and lost on an alien planet. He knew he had to help them.
Theo urged the townsfolk to welcome these peaceful beings. Reluctantly, the townsfolk agreed. For days and weeks that followed, the folks of Somerville worked hand in hand with the Galaxians, helping them adjust to life on Earth.
What followed was an epoch of harmony where terrestrial beings from Earth and extraterrestrial entities from another galaxy coexisted peacefully, each learning and growing from the others' experiences. Life on Earth bloomed because of the advanced Galaxian technology, and the Galaxians found a new home, starting a new life, leaving their doomed planet behind.
The story of Somerville and its galaxy watcher spread across the world, reminding everyone that even in the vast universe, no plea for help should ever go unheard. The unity and parallel existence of the Galaxians and humans sent a strong message of brotherhood, acceptance, and coexistence across the universe.
And thus, the ten-year-old boy, who merely wanted to peep into the cosmos and perhaps find some extraterrestrial life, became the savior of a race, the bridge between two species, and a reminder of the essential goodness that thrives inside humanity.
