The Forgotten Kingdom of Everest
In the sprawling ranges of the majestic Himalayas, where the normal world dared not to dream, a forgotten kindgom had long thrived - the Kingdom of Everest. An unknown land clothed in the white robe of snow; it was a realm shrouded in mysteries, legends and myths. I present before you, the tale of this unearthly world and its heroic king, the ‘King of Everest’ - the blessed offspring of the mighty mountains.
It began during the reign of the King of Everest, Ngawang, who was loved and respected by his people. He ruled this secretive kingdom with a benevolent hand and an insight as profound as the Everest itself. His subjects seemed as resilient as the mountains, as serene as the cold breeze, and as mysterious as the elusive yeti. However, life was not easy; they contended with the ruthless cold, merciless snowstorms, and limited resources. But, under Ngawang's leadership, they thrived and held onto their traditions, drawing their strengths from the mountains that had been their guardian for centuries.
On one treacherous winter evening, a massive snowstorm hit, unlike any they had ever seen. Amid the chaos, a stranger stumbled upon the domain of Everest, half-dead and frostbitten - a lowlander named Shaurya. Ngawang, being both warm-hearted and wise, welcomed Shaurya into his kingdom. After being nursed back to health, Shaurya woke up to discover the enigmatic beauty of the white landscape and an untold realm living under its shadow. He was smitten with the dire beauty of the kingdom and its tranquil people, over time falling in love with the king’s only daughter, Sangmu.
Mirroring his heart's inclinations, Sangmu also nurtured feelings for the stranger. Ngawang, reading the tender blossoming of love, approved of this unique union between the lowlander and his daughter. Their marriage was celebrated extravagantly with high spirits harmonizing with joyous laughter echoing against the towering heights. The couple gave birth to a brave and diligent son, Tenzin, who was to bridge the gap between the highlanders and the lowlanders in the future.
Years rolled by peacefully until a prophecy threatened their harmonious existence. The prophecy spoke of an impending disaster - a monstrous avalanche that could wipe the Kingdom of Everest off the face of the earth. The king's advisors suggested that the only way to prevent this catastrophe was to obtain the 'Crystal of Ice,' a mythical relic known to possess immense forces of the cold, hidden deep within the heart of the Himalayas.
Ngawang entrusted Shaurya with this perilous journey, for he had faith that the courage of the lowlands and the blessings of the mountains bestowed upon his son-in-law would guide him right. With determination in his heart and his wife and son's prayers safeguarding him, Shaurya embarked on this wary journey. He traversed icy ravines, desolate ridges, and faced the wrath of chilling winds, battling blood-freezing temperatures and death-defying blizzards. His unwavering will, however, did not flicker in the face of adversity.
After days of toil, he arrived at the heart of the mighty Everest and unearthed the Crystal of Ice. The energy radiating from the crystal soothed the towering mountain; it was as if Everest had been waiting for its lost heartbeat to return. Our hero, gathering his remaining strength, triumphantly started his journey back home.
In the sheer relief of Shaurya’s return, the stone was swiftly placed at the peak of Everest. The crystal absorbed the destabilizing energies around the mountain, calming it and preventing the catastrophe foretold by the prophecy. The kingdom rejoiced, their adoration for the heroic Shaurya echoing through the chilly mountain air.
The Kingdom of Everest continued to prosper, guarded by the crystal and the legendary tale of Shaurya, from then on known as the 'Savior of Everest.' His story transformed into a legend, passed on from generation to generation as a symbol of bravery and resilience, fostering an unbreakable belief in the mystical treasure hidden in the heart of the Great Mountains.
Home to the King of Everest and his heroic lineage, the kingdom thrived, finding harmony in the chilling winds and towering heights. Their tale bears legacy to their courage and utters hope to the solitary mountains, whispering the chronicles of a forgotten kingdom nestled in the belly of Himalaya - the Kingdom of Everest.
