The Fall and Rise of the Lightkeepers

Long ago, in the magical land of Elmspeak, lived a guiding race known as the Lightkeepers. They were heartful beings who illuminated the land and kept darkness at bay. This tale is about the fall and rise of this guiding light.
In the heart of Elmspeak, there resided Fifty Rings of Light. These weren't mere constructions but the source of vitality for the entire realm signifying each year in the Lightkeeper's era. The light generated from these rings not only illuminated Elmspeak but radiated energy that gave life to the world beyond their realm. However, Elmspeak wasn't devoid of darkness. Their eternal enemy was Zorkan, a power-hungry sorcerer, who desired to consume all light and plunge every realm into perpetual darkness.
One fateful night, Zorkan unleashed his denizens, dark spirits that thrived on the light's consumption. They attacked Elmspeak, extinguishing each Ring of Light one after another. The once lit up kingdom slowly became a world enveloped in darkness. The Lightkeepers were outnumbered, and with every fallen ring, their strength diminished. The fifty rings of light were reduced to a single ring, held by the oldest and most powerful Lightkeeper, Elda.
Elda, who had guided the Lightkeepers for many years, knew he couldn't hold the last ring alone. Hence, he decided to entrust the ring to his grandchild, a young and unskilled Lightkeeper, Lyra. On the night Elmspeak fell into utter darkness, Elda passed on the last Ring of Light to Lyra, telling her, 'You are the last hope, Lyra. Restore these lights and bring Elmspeak to its former glory.'
Lyra held the small source of light, trembling under her newfound responsibility. Embarking on her quest, she traveled through the now dark realm, filled with an immense fear of the unknown. She visited the extinguished rings one after another, each time fearing the shadow denizens might sense her presence.
Along her journey, Lyra came across other desolated beings. At first, she was hesitant to trust anyone in this abyss. However, she soon learned that her quest was beyond herself and her kingdom. She had to reconstruct the rings of light for all the realms which were cascading into darkness one after the other.
On her path, Lyra befriended a fairy, Iris, and a wounded soldier, Eron, from an extinguished realm. Both decided to help Lyra in her quest. Iris, with her knowledge of mystical beings, and Eron, with his unmatched bravery and strength, soon became Lyra's most trusted companions.
Together, they took upon themselves to fight Zorkan and his minions. Battles were fought, enemies were vanquished, and slowly, each Ring of Light was restored. Within each victory, Lyra felt her strength growing. The girl who was once afraid of dark corridors led an entire war against darkness. The final battle was fought against Zorkan himself, and with the combined effort of Lyra, Iris, and Eron, Zorkan was banished to the realm of eternal darkness, never to return.
Elmspeak was illuminated once again, and the fifty rings of light shone brighter than ever. The world beyond Elmspeak, which was on the brink of falling into darkness, found hope again. Lyra, once a young and unskilled Lightkeeper, was now known as Lyra, The Saviour of Light. Along with her now inseparable companions, Iris and Eron, she continued to guide Elmspeak and the realms beyond, ensuring such darkness never resurfaced.
And so, this tale of courage, hope, and friendship ended on a victorious note with a solemn promise of radiating brightness in even the darkest times.
