The Eternal Light

Once upon a time, in a realm away from the prying eyes of humanity, lied the Kingdom of Astrana, a magical kingdom hidden amongst the stars, where celestial beings reigned supreme. This kingdom was marked by luminosity and serenity that was delivered by the Eternal Light – a divine entity that upheld the existence and harmony of Astrana, illuminating every corner of the vast cosmos it nestled within.
In this kingdom, lived a young and venturesome celestial named Cygnus. Unlike his peers who spent eternity in the comforts of Astrana, Cygnus was intrigued by the mysteries shrouding their universe.
One day, an oracle prophesied the fading of the Eternal Light. While others dismissed it as merely a myth, Cygnus couldn’t ignore it. He made up his mind to embark on a journey towards the unknown, to prevent the foretold prophecy.
With the blessings of the Elder Council, Cygnus took off across the cosmic tapestries, bristling with unknown dangers and unforeseen allies. His exploration led him to the Realm of Time, home to the Chronomancer. Cygnus sought assistance in pausing the time to prevent the light from fading. However, the Chronomancer refused, stating it was against the laws of nature.
Cygnus's journey continued through the Eras Dimension to the Domain of Embers, up until the Pulsar Potency, and yet, the answers eluded him. Until he crossed paths with an exiled celestial - Vega, who had spent centuries hidden in the shadows, far away from Astrana. Vega revealed that the Eternal Light didn’t need saving; instead, it needed the touch of a pure and selfless soul to replenish its energy.
As Cygnus ventured back to Astrana, a cataclysmic wave reached him. The Eternal Light was dwindling at a pace faster than anticipated. Cygnus rushed and navigated through the collapsing cosmos, but he was late. The light flickered for the last time, leaving Astrana into an ominous darkness.
But Cygnus wasn’t ready to surrender. He closed his eyes and reached out to the dying entity. He shared his energy, his essence, his very existence with the Eternal Light. His selfless act did the trick, and a pulse of energy surged through the kingdom. The once diminishing light now blazed like never before, banishing the darkness and engulfing Astrana in its magnificent glory.
When Cygnus opened his eyes, he was back in Astrana, surrounded by his kin who hailed him as a hero. His journey had led him to the realization that the power to save the Eternal Light laid not in cosmic entities or powerful divinities but within himself, in his benevolence and courage.
He had let go of his eternal life to illuminate their cosmos, and in the process, he also relit the courage among his counterparts. The prophecy was now just part of an old tale, and Cygnus, a beacon of resilience and unwavering spirit, was etched in the annals of Astrana forever.
