Long ago, in an ancient village nestled among expansive forests and towering mountains, there lived a humble blacksmith named Edmund. He was renowned for his exceptional craftsmanship and artistic skill which were far superior than anyone in the adjacent villages and beyond.

When Edmund was done after half a fortnight, an exquisite golden locket adorned with emeralds and sapphires lay in front of him. Introducing herself as Elara, she inscribed an ancient rune on it, as she narrated the conditions that the locket could only be used thrice and that fate will guide it to its rightful owner.
After Elara vanished, the locket resided safely in Edmund's possession. Rumour spread, and so did the story of the Enchanted Locket. During a raid by marauders, the locket was lost, washed away by the river, taking a course of its own.
The locket, through centuries of passing hands, reached Alexandria, a compassionate woman in a war-torn modern world with a hunger for knowledge.
