The Enchanted Fable Book: A Tale of Princess Seraphina
In a long-ago time when magic and kind-hearted dragons roamed the earth, nestled in a valley swollen with the lush greenery, lied the Kingdom of Elara.
This kingdom was as magnificent as any other, with its majestic, towering palace and a colourful market hummed with activity and whispers of stories and far-off lands. The Kingdom was known for its brilliant King, a wise and fair man named King Eldrin, and his only daughter, Princess Seraphina. Seraphina, as gracious as the summer breeze yet valiant as a lioness, was adored by everyone in the kingdom.
One day, a prophecy was revealed, claiming that the Kingdom of Elara would face a great calamity that could only be prevented by a magical artifact, the Enchanted Fable Book. This book, crafted by the elves and dwelling in the towering Frostpeak mountains, was said to house ages-old magic powerful enough to avert any hazard. But, there was a warning. The Book would present its power only to a person pure of heart and full of courage.
On hearing the prophecy, King Eldrin and his subjects were enveloped by trepidation. To save their Kingdom, the only daughter of the King, Princess Seraphina, braved herself to fetch the Enchanted Evil Book. Seraphina, armed with her silver sword and undying courage, embarked on the journey to Frostpeak mountains.
The voyage was fraught with perils lurking in every corner. Seraphina faced wild beasts, crossed tumultuous rivers, and survived blizzards. She fought with bravery, spurring forth with the thoughts of her people. Her determination bore fruit, and at last, she reached the home of the Enchanted Fable Book.
A giant dragon, as gleaming as a blue moon and colder than the winter sea, guarded the book. Seraphina unflinchingly advanced to him, requesting the Book to save her kingdom. Intrigued by her bravery and pure intentions, the dragon asked her to answer a riddle in return for the Book. The riddle was: βI speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have nobody, but I come alive with the wind. Who am I?β
Seemingly difficult, but Seraphina's wisdom came to her aid. She replied, βan Echo.β Impressed, the dragon allowed her to take the Book. Seraphina thanked him and set off the return journey, with the Book secured in her bag.
Upon her return, Elara was on the brink of the foreseen calamity. She quickly read the ancient chants from the Enchanted Fable Book, lo and behold! A deep hum reverberated, and the skies changed. Magic spilled from the Book as a protective shield enveloped Elara. The kingdom was saved from the brink of a deadly disaster.
The whole kingdom celebrated their victory and the heroic deed of Princess Seraphina. From that day forward, Seraphina was not only seen as the princess, but as the saviour of Elara. Her tale of bravery, determination, and wisdom was etched in the history and hearts of Elara, sung and narrated to generations after. A princess, who risked her life and faced trials head-on for her kingdom, became a legend.
