The Desert Rose

In a time after time, where the Earth was a deserted landscape and cities were only memories King Matthew ruled the last haven of humankind, a city called Oasis. His intelligent rule had turned the desolate city into a green haven for the last humans.
King Matthew had a daughter, breathtakingly beautiful, Rose. Her beauty was second to her courage and heart full of kindness. Year after year numerous suitors flocked to the Oasis, longing for her hand but she rejected them all, her heart set on marrying a man of virtue who would bring prosperity to her people.
On a day of unremarkable temperature, a stranger arrived at the gate of Oasis riding a sand scooter. He was a tall man, dressed in desert robes, with eyes that held the calmness of the blue sea amidst the harsh sands. He introduced himself as Jack, a wanderer searching for an Oasis in the vast desert.
Jack held no riches, no army, just his knowledge of the desert, which he employed in the service of Oasis. He taught the people better ways to manage water, cultivate their crops, and use energy from the abundant sunlight. His works caught the attention of the beautiful princess, Rose. They fell in love, but Rose was conflicted as Jack held none of the riches that could ensure a prosperous future for her people.
Meanwhile, the last nation, Warlords, driven by envy and an insatiable desire for power had set their eyes on Oasis. One day they declared war, their machines of war charged towards Oasis raising ominous clouds of dust. The news sent the kingdom into panic.
Rose refused to let her people suffer and went to the Warlords, pleading for mercy. The Warlords agreed, but only if she promised to leave her kingdom and live with them. Torn between her love for her people and Jack, she agreed to the proposal.
Upon hearing this, Jack knew he had to stop her. He told King Matthew about his past. Jack was a prince from a kingdom that had perished in a war with the Warlords. He had been on a journey to find allies to defeat the Warlords. Overwhelmed by his tale, Matthew bestowed upon him the ancient Armor of Kings, a marvel built by the Old World scientists. It was said who wears the armor could control the forces of nature.
Armor clad, Jack followed Rose to the Warlords' stronghold. Suddenly, with a burst of light, an enormous sandstorm was summoned that dismantled Warlords' machines of war. Jack, guided by his love for Rose, fought his way through the storm to reach the Warlords' leader. With a swift move, he defeated the leader, thus ending the battle.
Seeing the defeat of their leader, the remaining Warlords retreated. The storm subsided, Jack and Rose returned to the Oasis hailed as heroes. King Matthew, relieved at the happy turn of events, consented to their union.
On their wedding day, Jack and Rose stood before their people, promising to lead them into a future of peace and prosperity. As they kissed under the setting sun, a desert rose bloomed in the Oasis, a symbol of enduring love in the harshest of conditions. Jack, the wanderer, and Rose, the princess, together turned the barren world into a blooming desert, giving humankind a new hope.
And so, the story of the Desert Rose sang through generations, teaching the tale of enduring love, courage, and the power of knowledge transforming a desolate world into a haven.
